I made a timeline to how I see the different games and other important events to be next to eachother. (THIS IS ALL MY THEORIES BTW THIS IS NOT CANON) Light purple: takes place in a different universe then the prime universe From left to right: -Arceus is born. Nothing has happened before this. Arceus makes the universe (the prime universe, which is where all of the mainline games take place and most sideline games). -past paradox pokemon are created. -the events of legends arceus take place. Most civilizations have not fully formed, people still hesitant to work with pokemon -the events of all of the mainline games take place with slight variations in timeline. -events of the pokemon movies and anime’s take place. Ash’s arc and liko’s arc are in separate universes(until proven otherwise) these take place in varying timelines but most are after when the main story would have taken place if there was a protag, seen by how penny, nemona, and arven knew eachother and how Kieran was already champion in horizons. -the pokemon cafe opens. I put a purple question mark because it does seem like it could exist in the prime universe but their might be complications (not sure if they have hisui/paradox pokemon in the game implying time travel I forgor) -the events of legends za happen. I feel like I should have put the notch right after cafe but I didn’t so pretend that its just a littttle to the left.. -unite games happen. The reason why this is after za is because I believe they are introducing megas from za (..?) and the technology is pretty advanced. Holowear, the goal system itself, it’s very… futuristic. Za as has a lot of the same technology so I assume this is just a little more in the future. Not a parallel universe though as everything can exist within the prime universe. Edit: I now realize that Leon is in unite so I can only have one solution: in world, this is also just a hologram or a pretend version of Leon because he cannot be alive. He was significant enough for people to recognize who he was and for him to be very well known. -in another universe something goes horribly wrong and lots of natural disasters strike, causing the humans to abandon some places in search of more hospitable terrain. After many years the events of pokopia happen. The humans were driven out probably around when the anime started but all of the pokemon only started to wake up after unite started happening in the prime universe. -mystery dungeon. Similar to pokopia in another universe all of the humans magically go poof and now it’s only pokemon. I didn’t really know where to put this because I only played 1 third of the one on switch and I gave up after 3 attempts because it was too hard. Tell me if this should be somewhere else. I assume it’s like an apocalypse happens and all of the humans and technology are gone -future paradox pokemon are created. I believe these are stated to be man-made? Very advanced stuff. VERY. It’s way in the future. And last but not least, not on the timeline: masters Masters is so crazy it cannot be listed on the timeline due to the traveling stuff and universe going on in there. Adman is alive (and he looks pretty healthy and happy too. Imagine perrin’s shock meeting her literal ANCESTOR) Juliana and Florian are separate people from Different universes, and bede got his very own iron valiant?? Despite this not a lot of the technology is new (all they have is a new type of iPhone and some special gimmicks to use on the island) so it’s just a lot of odd time travel and technology soup that just deserves its own little spot. I have not played masters so if there is an actual timeline where it takes place feel free to tell me. (I spent so long on the masters part because the no-no word detector kept showing me the red box. Can’t you just show me the weird word you don’t like??? It didn’t like what I said about masters and their technological advancements. I don’t know why it would do that. It can be a little stupid sometimes)
