[Marosian Dissent] Upon the Marosian declaration of war on Aurelia, the nation has been sent into civil instability. Protests flood streets of the capital and major cities, and support for the Marosian regime is at an all time low. The people have been forced into a second war against a nation who had not wronged them. False cries for "revenge" leave the public even more bitter. Worse yet, even the military is wavering. The army is especially distrustful, remembering the slaughter in the First Aurelian War. Draft dodging is extensive, and the soldiers who can pull it off are fleeing to neighboring countries. The Marosian fleet has split, 23 Heavy Cruisers, 1 Drone Carrier, and 61 Corvettes under the command of Randy Patterson have begun moving South, intending to leave the Dutchy of Maros, escorting soldiers who wish to join them out as well. The Marosian war machine is running on fumes already, hardly having recovered from the losses of the first war, and being slowed further by strikes in the factories. [Kefeon Dissent] In Kefeon the situation is no better, the people, just having left a deadly civil war are enraged to be fighting a nation who has not wronged them, and the nation gains nothing by invading. Assassination attempts on the leader(s) of Kefeon are daily, and riots are overwhelming the police force. Militias are forming, and certain regions that were formerly Terran before the unification are demanding independence. [Terran Dissent] The same thing is happening in Terra, a war nobody wanted, unjustified and greedy in nature. [Aurelian Response] With the Marosian fleet succumbing to mutiny, the Aurelian forces are focused to the north, letting garrisons and railgun stations hold the line. The Aurelian forces are on the defensive, utilizing false gap tactics to encircle daring foes while retaining an organized line.
