Welcome, campers, to your second writing task of July '26! This session will be interspersed with tidbits and clues about the mansion and why things seem to be a bit off. In order to uncover these clues, we need a certain amount of campers to complete a collaborative writing task. The writing itself should be done in the study, using this link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1350463608/ . Any and all planning can go either in Gothic's studio, this project, or on somebody's profile. Your second task will require you to pair up with ONE person. Beware -- in the future, your partner's may be randomized. However, as it stands, you can just leave a comment on this project to request a writing partner and communicate there. This task requires THREE pairs to complete the writing assignment. The writing is due at 11:59 PM EST on JULY 10TH. If there seems to be a problem with your partner's activity and you still want to get the task done, contact a leader :-) Without further ado, let's get into what you've all been waiting for: the prompt. Sure, peace and quiet is nice on a writing retreat. It gives you the mindset to focus and concentrate on your writing, but truthfully we all need to talk a bit sometimes. For your second task, you will need to write 150 words encapsulating a brief conversation someone might have while staying at an old Victorian mansion. Remember the key to dialogue: don't just write what's being said, but include actions, dialogue tags, setting details, and emotions. Let's see what conversation we can strike up!
