I wouldn't label this as rant or a vent, just my thoughts. I see people with 100-500+ followers, I think "Wow, I wonder how long that took!" I check, and they have been on Scratch for 1-5 MONTHS, not years, MONTHS. The person is usually following 300-2,000+ people. I see big Scratchers with 3-10+ years, with hundred to thousands of followers, and following 50-200 people, that makes sense. I also don't always follow back for the reason of, Was I followed because I was cool, or was I followed because I was on scratch/kind of liked? I usually get followed by people who haven't hearted or starred a project, or commented. I sometimes see the same people saying "I don't want to be followed just so I follow them back!" My response is "Don't follow them back, or stop doing the exact thing/following them because they had slightly cool projects."(i'm not a fan of f4f too btw) I get the amount of followers if it was an alt account, or someone moved accounts, or if they went Scratch viral/were famous somewhere else, but came to Scratch. I'm not trying to call anyone out, I just wanted to get this out there. To wrap up, I dislike follow farmers.
I am not trying to offend anyone, if you do this, tell me why, or just stop doing it to get followers, especially if you don't really care about the person. This isn't everyone, just a lot of people.
