Smart explanation: 100=2,10.5=2 , 100+10.5=2+2=4 4<1000=4.5⇒Cannot carry → !!! paradoxicaric base Short words, short and, the reason 110.1 doesn’t carry is because there’s no digit for it. It’s the same as saying 10x2=10+10 without saying 20. Kids/simple explaination: Sure! Here's a short, clear equation that explains the paradox: $$ 100 = 2 \quad,\quad 10.5 = 2 \quad\Rightarrow\quad 100 + 10.5 = 2 + 2 = 4 $$ But in this base: $$ 4 < 1000 = 4.5 \quad\Rightarrow\quad \text{Cannot carry → paradoxicary} $$ You can simplify it further for kids in Scratch: `100 = 2` `10.5 = 2` `100 + 10.5 = 4` But `1000 = 4.5`, so we **can’t carry** → ! ! **Paradoxicary!**
