67th project Disclaimer: This is not meant to address any drama i'm just here to spread awareness of this issue. I know that this is only one problem i'll be talking about here, but I think its fair enough to say that favoritism has become one of the most common and biggest problems here in dbd. I've been observing a lot of comments favoriting users more than others for the past month. This can cause exclusion making those other types of users feel bad. I completely understand how some of the managers are aware of this and (i think)* spread awareness to reduce more of this. Thank you to the managers by the way for doing this. But I won't be talking about the managers because its not their fault, it's more of the curators who cause this. From what I know, I thought dbd was a safe place to be in, but no! The problem with this is that y'all see this as a group chat-ish thing. Nothing's wrong with having friends here for sure, but y'all often prioritise these friends so much that if often feels para-social and (like i said) makes others feel excluded. AND i've seen a lot of users get away with their behaviors and drama because of this. Just because your friends with someone problematic doesn't mean you should defend them. "Oh but _____ never actually did _____ because they're my friend!!" They're your ONLINE friend. You never know what type of person they are in real life. "YOU're just mad and immature because YOU don't get replies!" No. It's the fact that people think its okay to favorite other users and make the rest feel bad. And y'all act like your clueless about this. People need to stop with "ThE pOwEr Of FrIeNdShIp" dynamic here. I've seen people vent or people that need replies that usually get ignored and some other user in the next comment will get a lot (unless its deserved). This is completely unfair and it'll draw less people in the studio. I would very much hate it to see how one user shows bad behavior and get dismissed because they're your friend or popular. And when someone does addresses this type of behavior, others will complain and deny that they caused it. Y'ALL NEED TO LEARN TO ACCEPT !!!! Yet if someone "unpopular" or "not known well" does a small mistake, y'all also complain how they aren't banned / ganged up on / etc. There's an easy solution to solve this but y'all seem like y'all don't want to solve it at all. Every person here has learned nothing. And to the people's opinions i've shut down, it's time to learn.
