Major policy update! Any member of any species can request modification in any way that does not cost more than a small amount of money, as they will pay for these modifications, and we don't want them to overspend on it. However, if a species needs a modification to survive, they will be allowed them for free. The UAS is the largest information gathering and scientific company in the galaxy. Combined with huge amounts of data input, we make personalized aid programs, special astronomy and spaceflight tech products, and seek to better the galaxy through data and information. Accept all cookies to help us help you, and make sure to vote Xenorp. Policies: Public knowledge policy: Everyone should have access to all the knowledge in the galaxy that is not classified by the government, in any form usable by citizens, though a library is recommended. De-classify private study information: Anything the government learns though any data gathering method, that will not cause widespread problems (such as "rebels are attacking the next galaxy over) or is official government data must be shared with the public, or implanted into the data storage of the public knowledge policy's libraries/data centers. Corporate overwatch policy: users of a company's products must know what the products do, what they are being used for, how they are made, if there are any conditions attached, and if so, what those conditions are, and what they mean/do. Technology advancement funding: Any citizen can bring forth an invention or piece of technology that they believe can help the UPG. The entire technology department votes, if 2/3 vote in favor, then said piece of technology will be funded and manufactured. UAS controls galaxy-wide spacecrafts, uninhabited planets, and owns rights to further regions of the galaxy along with the AstroGastro, Galaxy Burger, and UFOod faster than light food chains. "Is being president of both a galaxy and this company a conflict of interest?" No. In most cases, such as with Solway Firth, who runs a large company focused on ruling over customers, it would be a yes. However, the goal of UAS has never been to earn money, only to gain knowledge and technology, so sharing that with the UPG is not a conflict of interest, but a path to improvement. "Are you communist or capitalist?" Neither. We only want the people of the galaxy to be alive, and instead of making life-changing, and sometimes idiotic policies, in our presidential term we seek to improve the UPG in knowledge, technology, size, and peace.
@RainRaven for the Election :)
