“So… this is akward…” I said. I was in potions class (UGH) and I was paired with Mathew. Speaking of, I’m perfectly fine now! We just had to use some (strikes a pose)… MAGIC!! “Let’s just get this over with,” He said, “I know the recipe for the love potion by heart.” “No. Stick to the paper…” I said. Then he ripped the paper in half. “Oh no! No more paper!” Five minutes later, we used up all of the ingredients. And had a huge mess in front of us. “Is it supposed to be bubbling…?” I asked. “Uhm… Yeah! We’ll be fine!!” Penelope walked over. “That is not amorantia.” It exploded. “OW IT’S HOT!!” Mathew shrieked. “That is what I call very funny karma.” James laughed. Us three were perfectly dry, and 100% free of burning love potion. Jinu walked over. “Mathew…?! What…?!” Penelope laughed. “He got his turn for karma!!” When we returned to the common room, I found the Ravenclaw’s jamming out to a playlist Penny put together. I gasped. “I love this song!!” They were playing Party in the USA, my anthem. I started dancing. As soon as I hit the bridge, everyone started looking at me… And clapping. I took a bow. “Thank you, thank you.” A blonde girl walked up to me. “What’s your favorite song?” I took a moment to answer. “I love the song Match To Memories, by Chloe Adams.” It started playing. “OMG THIS IS MY ANTHEM!!”I screamed. They paused it. “Allie! Where’s the mini stage?” The blonde girl asked. “I GOT IT!!” Allie pulled out a mini stage, with matching lights. “I’m Emily.” The blonde girl responded. “I’m-“Willow Everkrist. We know.” Said a boy, who was at least sixteen, from the looks of him. The music played again. I hopped onstage. “Yeah I know it’s gonna hurt…” The whole room LIT UP with glitter. “I’ll cry as I’m watching us… Burn… Burn… Burn!! Cry as I’m watching us burn!” Everyone went crazy. “OMG ELLI WE HAVE A NEW STAR!!” Emily shrieked. “That was brilliant!!” Then they played superbad, by Jax. “I don’t wanna break her little heart…” Everyone started waving their phones in the air. “Can somebody tell me how, to break your best friend’s heart if I don’t tell her… who’s gonna tell her… HE’S SUPERBAD FOR HER!! This will end badly and she will get hurt…” When I finished, Emily screamed. “That was so… PURE!!” “Thanks… let’s just say I’ve experienced something like that.” All my favorite songs started to play. “And nobody… in all of Oz… no wizard that there is or was… is ever gonna bring… ME DOWN!!!” Professor McGonagle walked in right as I hit the high note on Defying Gravity. “Willow… Um…” Penelope tapped me on the shoulder. “Oh! Professor McGonagle! I- Um…” “We encouraged her to sing.” Emily stepped in. “I need to take Penelope and Willow.” She said, looking panicked. “It’s James. He’s hurt.”
