misogyny and misandry..

tldr at bottom! recently ive been seeing more and more people praising women for borderline assault or hate towards men or men being shamed for similar actions towards women. obviously hate is bad coming from or directed towards any gender but its getting more out of hand as of late. theres this one clip in a lot of naoya edits where this couple is doing a first to react loses thing and in the comment section there was a bunch of people praising the girl for breaking the guys controller and calling the guy doing the same thing a red flag. (i checked the original video the comments are deleted but theres pictures of them) so when i was looking stuff up on similar topics i came across a video about misandry compared to feminism and the some commenters were saying misogyny was an act of hate while misandry was a response the that. obviously this is partially true but targeting a whole gender based on just that blatantly wrong. misogyny isnt justified at all of course but its not an excuse to hate all men. throughout history women have been treated far worse than men and a lot of people take that to mean men are worse people for some reason? some people also think feminism is proactivity for womens rights but it actually means equality regardless of gender, but people sometimes use the term feminism as a mask to hide male-hatred. over this description ive been mostly talking about misandry but it doesnt make up for the fact that men typically have better lives and that misogyny has been more constant throughout history. basically, misogyny doesnt justify misandry and misandry doesnt justify misogyny. i dont really like being mean but some people are actually dumb as rocks i feel like this take should be a frosty ice-cold bone-chilling take but i guess its a hot take man idk also btw the couple in those clips actually bought each other new version of whatever they broke for the trend so it was mostly just the comment section that was bad TLDR; what r we doing dawg
