chapter 2 : juni x quinn ᥴhᥲρtꫀɾ 2 ashton left the building. juni sighed again in relief. after rearranging her glasses, she looked up and saw a skinny korean woman smiling at her. “um hi.” said juni, typing on her computer. “you are?” the woman frowned and cocked her head. “uh sorry, i do not, um, english.” juni gasped. “right. um…” she traveled into her brain, pulling out the little korean she knew. obviously juni was going to start a duolingo account on her break. “what is your name?” juni asked in horrible korean. the woman flung her head back and laughed. “hon, i'm just kidding! ha! i'm kallie. my name should already be in the system, because i’m in the newest group. it’s called TRAPDOOR. anyway, i'd love to stay and chat, but i'm late. bye!” kallie waved, turned around and disappeared behind a wall. juni sighed for about the millionth time today. then she worried about her date with ashton, even though it was still a day away. she had still never told him she was bi. it never came up in their text conversations! or in-person conversations. although they didn't have many chats in person, unless they were on a date. otherwise they were hiding from employees or security guards while kissing in secret. juni shakes her head, returning back to work. there is a line of annoyed people behind the desk. “oh lord.” the first one stepped up. “juniper, you’re late for the meeting.” he snapped, tapping away at his iPad. “i didn’t know there was a meeting…” juni said as he rushed her to the highest floor to a room where everyone was sitting at a table staring at her. embarrassed, juni quickly sat down. a man cleared his throat. “everyone, this is juniper richard, our new receptionist. but she goes by juni, i guess. i am seo-jun, the ceo and founder of vibe ent. juni, tell us a little about yourself.” juni blinked. “um. hi, i'm juni. i am nineteen years old. uh…that’s kind of it…” she looked down at her feet, embarrassed. murmurs flew across the table. “nineteen years old?” “she’s far too young!” “what the hell was seo-jun thinking?” juni’s face flushed, sinking down in her seat. seo-jun cleared his throat firmly and sat up straighter. “i wanted you all here to discuss the making of our new group, TRAPDOOR. their debut has been highly successful, but now we need the comeback. michael, do you have the lyrics yet?” a man named michael slowly shook his head. seo-jun sighed. “idiots! i didn’t hire idiots, i hired smart people who could actually write songs! come to my office when you have them down,” seo-jun glared at michael, then walked out.
