*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Hey guys! :D So, I want to this worship night at a friends church and it was a time were you could reflect and listen and I just wanted to share some notes and my train of thoughts with you guys! <3 (The 'theme' was water and stones) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ The stones can represent God's Word. God's word takes down the Giants in our lives. (Like David) Some Giants can be lies. We bring lies into the light and then take them down with God's word, because they're weak in the light. God's love has the power to destroy the lies. (Romans 8:37-39) "If these were silent, even the rocks would cry out" *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "Go on your way and sin no more." *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Ruth 1:14 "Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her." Judas kissed Jesus 'goodbye' went he betrayed Him. We can cling to Jesus in the good and bad times. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you." Water can be such a healing things too. "Happiness comes in waves" Happiness and Joy aren't the same thing. You can have Joy when you aren't happy. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ We can only pour out so much to people. We have to be filled up too sometimes. If we don't go back to Jesus to be filled up, then we don't have anything to pour out. "My cup overflows" "because God is good" When I abide in Jesus, this can happen: "My cup overflows" That's why we come together as Christians, to fill each other up. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ God brings us to different places in different seasons. It could be a cup of cold water (to refresh us in the faith), a bathtub to wash us in (wash us clean of sin), a puddle to jump in, a river to play in, an ocean to venture across, ect. We need to trust God's timing. God can answer our prayers in ways we don't expect. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ I wonder if people in heaven are doing this right now. Around the river that flows from God's throne, talking, meditating, watching, listening, praising. Sitting and talking with Jesus. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Water can bring life but it can also kill. You are baptized with water and spirit. Jesus is living water. (Luke 4:1-42) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Luke 8:22-25 // The water and winds obey Jesus. "Just ask the stone that covered the tomb in the garden, what happens when God says to move." (The stone could represent things in our lives. eg. doubt?) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ God erodes my burdens. (Prayer: Breathing in say 'You erode my burdens', breath out and think about water flowing over rocks in a river and say 'thank you' when you breath out.) God's love erodes our rough edges. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ We're the only thing in creation that has the nerve to look God on the face and say "No.". *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "Jesus calms the storm..." You could add on to this. (In my heart, of my anxiety, ect.) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ The Pool of Bethesda was a place of healing. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ (Psalm 23) The waters are still but also refreshing. Sometimes we worry so much that we stir up the still waters we're next to. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ The longer I sit by the water, the more I will reflect clearly. "When water is agitated, it becomes hard to see the reflection, but if you allow it to settle, the reflection becomes clear." (perfected) (Hebrews 12:1-3) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Stones can be used for many things, like building, but the can also be used to kill. (John 8) "But Jesus bent down and started to write with His finger." What was He writing? The people were going to stone the woman. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ I hear about a man- Jesus. Everything He touched comes alive. I heard about a river. Anything it touched cam alive. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ People can make such a big impact on such a big amount of water. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "Peace, be still." "Be still and know..." *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Psalm 51:2 "Wash away my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin." Matthew 19:13-15 "The people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them, the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there." *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ (John 9 // Jesus heals a man born blind) The mud could represent sin and only after the mud was washed off could the man see. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ GOD'S WORDS WILL NOT COME BACK EMPTY. (for yourself or others) Even the rain and the snow will water the earth. God's words will do what He wills. The water that come down from the sky will not return until it has watered the earth. Same with God's words. The rain can even be tears. (Whatever season of life you're in) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "'My thoughts are higher than your thoughts' declares the LORD" *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ God's an artist and a potter. I'm the canvas and the clay. God will weave me into a master piece. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ "My cup overflows." I AM fullfilled. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Does God have to speak 'Peace, be still' into my life right now? *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚
(continued) *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ You need BOTH hands to help build God's kingdom. You can't help with one and hold something in the other. *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ That's all of my notes. :3 (Except for one really crazy thought that crossed my mind about my christian story, Luck. I would share it but its spoilers. ;3 Sry.) Anyhow, I hoped you liked this. May God bless you and your day/night! <33 *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Art: mine Song: Chris Renzema - All My Worst Ideas
