A reminder that this event is entirely roleplayer-made and non-official! ❆ ❆ ❆ THE RULES: 1. Follow all of the Generations rules. 2. You must own a cat in MossClan, and they must be currently alive. 3. Any T.R.A.S.H.E (transph0bia, rac1sm, abl3ism, s3xism, h0moph0bia, etc) or bigotry of any kind can lead to warnings or disqualification. 4. Any use of AI during this roleplay will lead to disqualification. 5. Please respect the wishes of other roleplayers. 6. You may request to be paired with a specific cat, but you may not force them to join the event as it is entirely optional. This is however discouraged (codeword is your favourite weather) as one of the purposes of this event is to meet new people inrp. 7. If you are uncomfortable roleplaying with your partner, please notify me and I will switch you up! We want everybody to be having fun. 8. This is solely optional, but it would be great to use a shorter starter, as this would leave more space for roleplaying. 9. Be a good person and use common sense! If you wouldn’t want someone to say, “Every snowball Examplecat threw hit the opponent! Surely they would win!” then don’t do that. ❆ ❆ ❆ SO… HOW DOES THIS WORK? Perhaps you’ll be glad to know that the Snowball Tournament does not rely on your current exp levels/statistics, and perhaps not. Everyone has a base set of 20 points. Points determine the chance of winning. The higher your points, the higher chance you have of winning. As you meet the criteria on the list, your amount of points will grow. FOR TEN EXTRA POINTS: - have a full comment long reply (more than one will still be qualified, go crazy!) - make a piece of artwork of your cat in the snow (unrendered) FOR FIFTEEN EXTRA POINTS: - have three or more comments in a single reply - use four of the five senses (appropriately) in roleplay - be a good sport to the other roleplayer/cat, both inrp and oorp - make a piece of artwork that is rendered of your cat in the snow FOR EXTRA POINTS: (not guaranteed) - at staff’s disposal (if you see someone that you feel is worthy of more points for any reason, e.g. being nice to others or being a good sport, you may give them some points. note that you should not be trying to be a good sport only for points!) All of the ones related to inrp events (e.g. two or more comments, or use three senses) are only available for the opening ceremony. After the ceremony, all points will be added up as a final total and pairings will be announced. You will have (points/2 rounded up to the nearest whole) number of snowballs at the beginning of the round. Each snowball has a ([point x 2]%) chance of hitting. At the beginning of the round, you will be told how many snowballs you will be hit by, and how many snowballs must land on the opponent. All draws are friendly - if you draw, both players move onto the next round. After the first round, only half (or a couple more) of the players will remain. After that, we pair you up randomly again until we’re left with one winner. Three way roleplays may be initiated if necessary.
