Fleapaw made it a tradition that every new moon he would vist Licekit's burial sight. He still remembered that day all too well.. It was a blur of shock, confusion and tears. Delphnie had to explain to him and Tickpaw what the concept of "death" was. It was something no kit should ever experience, yet the world still spun. It was cruel. And that was his first wake up call. The snow crunched beneath Lele's paws, a bundle of forget-me-nots held tightly in his maw. He'd suddenly stop at the stick marking. "Ah.. Licekit.. How have you been doing?" Fleapaw laughed, wiping the snow off the ground and gently setting down the blue flowers. "I miss you yknow? Its been hard without you, but we still power on." He'd mew, staring at the mound of ground. Fleapaw's tail thumped against the ground. A habit of his that he developed when he was 5 moons old. "I know you've already heard this but i wanted to be a medic, even before you left." A fond smile spread on his face. "You gave me more of that want after you.." He'd pause, 'no. Don't say it, pretend your still talking to Licekit.' "Ahem.. I wanted to be a medic to help others because I couldnt help you." Fleapaw finally said it. "In the end, Im training to become a warrior. Not really that glamourous, I still have to get my paws dirty." He'd chuckle. "If you were here i'd rant to you all about it, bt look at me now! Even when you're gone Im still yapping my mouth to you. Gosh, your probably sick of me." Aki rambled, his face getting more animated as he continued on. "Unlucky for you, you have to deal with me /FOREVER/" He'd tease nothing. Fleapaw grabbed a blackberry flower carefully placed in his fur, and slid it next to the forget-me-nots "Well.. I should probably go no-" "BEEEHHHH!!" "What was that?-" Fleapaw jumped, frightened. The sound continued on, distressed. "MEEEEEEEHHHHH!!" Fleapaw started following the noise until he found the source. A startled lamb, laying next to a bush. "Oh?.." Fleapaw tilted his head, slowly inching towards the ball of wool. "MEEHH! MEHH!" It yelped, seeing him. It tried to run away but vines were tangled on its limbs. "Ah.. Dont worry, i wont hurt you buddy." His face softened, "Im gonna help you alright?" "Meeeh.." The sheep bleated. Fleapaw would sit infront of the sheep first, letting it smell his scent. "Im Fleapaw okay? Im going to be your friend." He'd then start putting his paws on the lamb's vines, carefully untangling it. "Gee, where's your momma?" Aki would ask. "Ah.. right, you can't answer me." After a few minutes he'd finish working on the vines. The lamb slowly and carefully standing up. "Ah.. Run along now! Go back home!" Fleapaw called, turning away to pad back to camp. After a minute or two he would hear footsteps behind him. "Hello?-" He'd call, spooked. Only for him to turn around and see the sheep right behind him. "No- Im not your momma!" Fleapaw laughed. "Baaah?" "Okay. Okay, fine. Your coming with me okay? But you need a name first." He'd start, thinking for a moment. "How about Reverie?" Fleapaw asked, "does that sound good?" "Beeeh!!" "Okay, then. Its settled. Hello Reverie! Your coming home with me!"
