Content warning: - eyestrain on #3 I'm shameless enough to beg for attacks, I want art of my daughter Mallory pls (and possibly art with her and Dolores together blink blink) Notes on the drawings: aka me yapping/rambling time!!! 1. Cute! Was experimenting with this artstyle + new brushes and I think it went well!!! I really like the way I did the hair, the fluff on the jacket, and the face!! 2. HOLY DAMN I WAS STRUGGLING SO MUCH WITH ALEXANDER'S HAIR!!! Also he looks so feminine can you tell I don't draw masculine people that much? Aline is perfect, didn't really have any trouble so no complaints there LOL! Other than that, I originally couldn't decide between purple or green background, and ended up going with green after asking tons of people!! Also the 2 squares were less saturated, but I wanted more colour so ye (and now it reminds me of salmon and tuna and it makes me hungry) I'm proud of the shading + rendering on the suit but it's kinda hard to tell with scratch quality oof 3. NO COMPLAINTS VERY FUN TO DRAW AND A NICE BREAK FROM DRAWING HUMANS!! THEY'RE SO CUTE AHHHHH 4. When I said I wanted a break from drawing humans I did NOT mean drawing realistic fish- I DON'T EVEN DRAW ANIMALS THAT MUCH LET ALONE A BETTA FISH!!!! I PRACTICED DRAWING AND RENDERING BETTA FISH SO MUCH BEFORE DOING THIS ONE, AND I FEEL LIKE IT STILL DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A BETTA FISH I DIDN'T DO THE FISH JUSTICE THE ACTUAL PICTURES OF HIM ARE SO BEAUTIFUL (T^T) (why does it lowkey remind me a bit of a goldfish did I just change this poor fish's species on accident-) to be fair tho I did draw this at like 1am and this was rushed cus I lost motivation after the 10th time I had to redo the face & other stupid decisions I made ANYWAYS the more I look at it the more mistakes I find so uh I'm not gonna look at it anymore- 5. Once again super cute oc!!! It was also fun getting the option to create designs for the 2 buddies!!! Againwas indecisive about background colour + gradients for the overall piece but I think it turned out okay? It seems pretty cluttered though, idk if in a good or bad way but oh well! It is currently 4:22AM as I'm typing this LOL gotta actually upload this to artfight in the morning aughhhhh
