A modded version of @thomaslyu's Geometry Dash Revamped Megamod V1 (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1077390715/) with the following updates: - Bug fixes including: - Practice mode checkpoints are no longer deleted in the editor when you press C - Variable "RespawnTime" is no longer shown outside the pause menu - Player velocity is reset if you restart the level while on a slope - Fixed recording system - Renamed background costumes so they can all be used in the editor - Improved speedhack music sync (still not perfect but it's accurate enough to playtest with speedhack) - Vectorized main menu to make it look better on Turbowarp (with high-quality pen) - Added volume slider to pause menu (press M to mute) - Made the progress bar start at different places based on the player's start position - Added particles for orbs, portals, and pads - Added R to restart a level - More features (toggle with /): - Death counter (in noclip) - FPS counter (can be inaccurate because I can't use timer) - CPS counter (can be inaccurate because it is based on the FPS) - Startpos number and percentage outside the pause menu - Best Attempt (without noclip) - Made a settings menu to customize the features listed above - Added save and load recording - Fixed lag PLEASE BE NO BUGS @Semidecentgdplayer for some ideas Thanks to @gooomboo and @definitelyzoink for suggestions Original instructions: - A Mod of Captainflufball's "Geometry Dash Revamped" (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1105159080/) that includes mods like: 2 player mode (+ dual editor trail) startpos switcher percentage counter @ the top startpos music controls (goofy) player trail and hitbox trail (if you turn both hitbox and trail on) - And many more bug fixes including: nudge rotate (keybind is now "f" instead of "b") difficulty faces returned to level screens verified levels shown as verified ship no longer buffers orbs SPIDER GLITCH (tp through solid blocks) J blocks start stats reseting in editor lag fix on opening empty levels(Oct 05, 2024 thanks to @VinnieK2008 for help) CREDIT TO IVY FOR THE NAME: "MEGAMOD" I STOLE IT FROM HER MWA HA HA!! It turns out i can post the mod without a level (deleting the level let's me save the project on scratch so yall can remix this now!) IMPORTANT NOTE: if you are making a large level while doing alot of playtesting, it would benifit your computer by deleting the items inside the OrbParticles list periodicaly, since it isn't used in any displays, and also isn't automaticaly deleted. (the reason i kept it is that i just found out and might want to use it in the future (for now i don't have time to update, but a reset system is ez you can even do it)) Updates: Feb 11 2025 - fixed player start stats reset after entering editor while on start stats screen (also forgot to remove some speedhack testing stuff which was removed on 2/16/25) 4/16/2025 while working on a special secret project, i found a different way to fix the speedhack above which i switched to. 11/25/2025 pointed out a lag problem when opening a completly empty level, it's sort of fixed though I don't know why (beats list no longer adds 32 empty beats at level creation) - a few instructions from the original project: I would highly recommend the use of turbowarp to run this project. Turbowarp can remove the question marks. Playing Levels - Click, W, Up Arrow, or SPACE to jump - Left Arrow or A to move left in platformer mode - Right Arrow or D to move right in platformer mode - X to place checkpoints in practice mode - C to delete checkpoints in practice mode - P to open the pause menu In Editor - WASD to move Camera - R to Rotate objects - X to delete selected objects - C to copy/paste selected objects - Arrow keys to move selected objects To save a level, remix this project and press the save now button in the project editor. If you want to bring a level from turbowarp into scratch, save the level code (you can do this in the pause screen), and load it into scratch. To use triggers, use the wire tool to connect a detection box (the light green trigger) to another trigger.
my first completed project. I worked really hard to decorate it and I verified it in around 200 attempts. Rate my deco 1-10 in the comments.
