You can go into the negatives when spending but, you will have donuts due meaning instead of getting to the donut's goal of 100,000 you will have to wait until you go out of the negatives into the positive and to the goal. BTW you get donuts by the second and extra if you click the donut. Buying grannies, farms, and mines help you get more donuts per second!
