WOOOO WE'RE BACK WITH A LOT OF PROGRESS!! This took so long! I think my last fursuit project was in 2024 haha I had nowhere to buy fabric so whilst I was living life I managed to find some that I'm finally happy with. Also Beran got a species change as well as a small redesign but it didn't impact this too much thankfully so yay! Onwards with my progress: 1-6. I had to change the tape I used cuz it was peeling but here's all the markings and stuff 7. Cutting out the tape so I can transfer it onto the fabric 8. Everything's cut now yay! She's bald again 9-10. Started marking out the fabric (I made a mistake with now flipping over my fabric when tracing but didn't realise at this point. Luckily it wasn't too bad and I didn't have to redo everything like I first thought) 11. It's been really warm so here's my really tasty apple juice. I remember this tasted sooo good and also I was listening to the Percy Jackson musical, wonderful vibes 12. More marking 13-14. Started cutting out my fabric! I don't like the texture of the green too much but there's not much of it so that's fine haha 15. I stopped here for another month so here's more bald Beran from when I started again today 16-17. started just placing the parts I'd cut out to see how they'd look, especially since I needed to know how bad my mistake was. 18-21. Cutting out the yellow and figuring out how she's gonna look yayay 22. Where I've left off. I had no pink for her nose but its fine, I used green instead. Hopefully when she's all together she looks a little less scruffy, and don't worry, She'll have some head fluff to cover up her huge forehead XD
I'm gonna have to learn how to use the sewing machine next oof I really hope this doesn't take me another two years hahah we'll see how it goes. I also still need to find this dark grey fabric I snagged for a project I never did so I can do her mouth inside (tongue and teeth have no current sign of appearing but we can hope) I'd also like to redo the inside of her head since I just lined it with a cut up balaclava that is super uncomfy, I have some cute fabric now that should work better, I can always find a new, cheap balaclava to wear as well as that so it doesn't hurt as much. When I finish the head (along with neck floof) I would like to make her paws and two tails. If I'm lucky and still have enough materials, I think I want to make feetpaws :D The more materials I have, the more likely they are to turn into legs as well (I really wanna try digitigrade legs!! I know I draw my anthros plantigrade but I really want to try it!) If I every make another, wether its a better version of Beran or one of my other sonas (Whisper or Sparky) I would like to finally find some actual fur so they can be as fluffy as they are supposed to be. Beran is my fluffiest character I own!! The shortness of her fur here bugs me a bit but its fine :) Sorry for the long ramble, a lot happened haha, also typing all this out reminds me to keep going with it and how I want to progress next :)
