NOTE: this will probably lag the first few times watching it. also, i did add a darker color..sorry supercowboyg :( if you need it fixed i'm sure something can be done dom goes to the river with koi and records the event :oo i know i put my signature at the end i know its not normal but uh i didnt know how else to end it. i can change if needed btw the other girl (koi) is just a stand-in for when i need another person in my art/animations. if my school friends are watching this, that's koi's design :p incoming long(ish) analysis about the map part this one was a little difficult to make. i usually don't animate with art as detailed as this (it took me like 1 hour just to draw the art for the first like. 2 seconds lol), nor do i usually animate using 0.08. i'm not very comfortable with working in a palette either, which may be evident here; i didn't really know where to throw in the reds and oranges so i stuck with purple and yellow. does it remove from the summer feeling? kinda. would it have looked a whole lot worse were i to force those colors in? probably :T inspired by @Codexion's part, i tried incorporating a camcorder feel. to the extent of which i executed it well i'm unsure, but i'm still proud. despite all this, my main gripe with this is how SIMILAR KOI LOOKS TO ME!! guys we actually look so different i just struggle with same face/hair syndrome it's pretty commonplace for animators to rate their own amv's/map parts and i may pick up this habit as well. i give this animation a solid 6/10: kinda mid sauce but the general concept was too simple to mess up all that poorly, and i like the art.
