Hello and welcome to the starlight shelter! Currently batch one - primary colors! ~What is a rotating DTA? A DTA (draw to adopt) is where people compete to win characters/designs by submitting art. A rotating DTA usually has batches and once a batch is finished a new one takes its place. It might take a while for the next batch to be finished. ~Rules • read the ENTIRE description • batches will close when there's 3+ entries for all characters + A week or two • once the design is won, its yours. Feel free to sell, trade gift, just please tell the reception that I designed it! • don't alter the design to the point that its not recognizable in ENTRIES! if you win the design, feel free to add, remove, ect. • no tracing, heavily referencing other art, ai, bases, ect. It must be YOUR ART • nothing that brakes scratch guidelines/is inappropriate, in entries and preferably future use! • you can only win one character, but enter as many times as you like! Just please give me preferences if you do! • please be respectful! No guilt tripping, harassing, ect. • I will not count late entries! ( code word is worm ) • you can change species, gender, ect. • your entry must be a remix and added to the studio! ( https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51816342/ ) • you can enter memes, animations, games, art of any form, ect. ~How to join • fill out the form: | user name | character(s) you will be entering for | if multiple, preference? | code word | medium? | do you want feedback? | time estimate | questions | would you like ping for the next batch? | You can start working on it before being accepted! • remix and add to the studio! • that's all... ~tips to win! • put EFFORT, matters more to me than skill • if entry is traditional, no matter how good the art, if the photo is low quality, it likely won't win ( my advice is good lighting + steady camera ) • • do unique things! Dragon puppets, Minecraft skins, small games uh.. Idk.. • add smaller bonuses! Mood boards, playlists, Uh.. outfits, or really anything showing you care about the character • shading, backgrounds ect. Always help • don't just make your entry a repeat of the ref but in your style... ~Character ranking Red ~ 6/10 this one isn't to hard to win <3 Yellow ~ 4/10 I don't like this one as much as the others Blue ~ 9/10 I love this one and might keep it ~Prizes 1st ~ The character, shaded bust, pfp and sketch 2nd ~ shaded bust and sketch 3rd ~ pfp and and sketch Honorable mentions ~ sketch I think that's all!
