✧ PART 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1328891794/ ✧ ✧ ✧ CHECK OUT PEAKCLAN’S STUDIO! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51809273/ i’m really glad that you guys enjoyed the first batch of cats!! the peakclan project is one that i’ve been developing silently for a while, and i do find it considerably fun to work on, so i’m incredibly relieved that you guys are liking these kitties as much as i do! without further ado, here’s some more of the clan’s inhabitants! ——— ✧ JAYSONG Widely regarded as the clan’s most adept hunter, Jaysong is a resourceful and clever warrior. - can be highly guarded and skeptical of others, but behind her sharp exterior is an exceptionally caring and warm-hearted cat. - has a soft spot for the apprentices - may or may not have a personal score to settle with chasmclan’s leader ✧ ICEWHISKER Icewhisker, along with her sister Thawheart, were born as loners but handed over as kits for the clan to raise. They maintain loose contact with their mother, “???”, and although they do not understand the reasoning for their abandonment, they have no choice but to trust in her judgement, which according to her, is a “piece of a larger plan”… whatever that means. - although she attempts to keep up with daily clan life, icewhisker feels like something’s a little.. off.. about herself. - after being contacted by [REDACTED] the reason is being revealed to her. lately, she’s become more distant, avoiding her clanmates and preferring to complete her obligations alone. - prone to episodes of lashing out followed by isolation - both her and her sister are more tolerant of the cold — given that their mother is from higher up in the mountains — but icewhisker, unlike the rest of the clan, feels more at home during the leaf-bare moons. ✧ THAWHEART A cheery and talkative cat, Thawheart has grown concerned with her sister’s behavior. Surrounded by both the mystery of her mother’s mission and Icewhisker’s increasingly self-destructive tendencies, she attempts to bridge the gap between herself and those she loves. - friends with most of her clanmates - can be a bit of a dreamy romantic - her fur feels noticeably warm to the touch ✧ MISTYPAW Mistypaw is a sociable apprentice who, upon any level of observation, bears absolutely no resemblance to her littermate Shellpaw. - Mentor: Radiantshine - despite her, for lack of a better descriptor, average capabilities, mistypaw strives to be the best warrior that she can. She deeply admires radiantshine and hopes to one day impress her. - even though she may not be the best at hunting or fighting, she is considerably charming, and has been seen making conversation with even the clan’s most reserved members. - she cares for her brother, but can be jealous of the disproportionate amount of attention he receives from the clan’s leading cats and her mother, marigoldshine. ✧ SHELLPAW Shellpaw, as his clanmates would describe him, is something of a bizarre cat. His analytical nature hasn’t exactly proven to mesh well with clan life, but in spite of his abrasiveness, he’s won the hearts of some of his clan. - Mentor: Ironpelt - much to the dismay and frustration of his mentor, shellpaw questions EVERYTHING. ironpelt, being a stoic cat whose pride is derived from his loyalty and capability to defend the clan, is, as expected, not well-equipped to address a constant barrage of “but why?”s from his apprentice and had frankly grown exhausted with him. - shellpaw struggles to see the logic and utility of hierarchy. unlike his sister, who finds comfort in social intricacies, he finds them to be pointless and prefers to be persistent and direct in communication. he is constantly seen questioning and attempting to undermine his superiors, which mortifies his mother and sister. - his mother’s tendency to coddle him has caused him to develop some degree of entitlement - he has no interest in fighting whatsoever and finds the clan’s borders to be illogical and counterproductive to survival — wouldn’t all of the groups in the area be better off if they just rationed their resources proportionally instead of having wars? this notion, predictably, infuriates ironpelt. - low key spends his free time alone observing nature. he finds the night sky to be the most fascinating, but given that he doesn’t believe in starclan, the other cats are unwilling to listen to his characteristically blasphemous theories about the stars. - otherwise, he enjoys dragging his sister to listen to the elders’ stories, arguing with his clanmates, or pestering freezefoot (freezefoot secretly finds the apprentice to be interesting, although he’d never admit this). ✧ BLUEPAW & GOLDPAW Prepare for trouble… and make it double. These brothers are freshly-made apprentices, and they’re never seen without the other’s company. - bluepaw seems to always be getting them into all sorts of… situations. goldpaw is sometimes irritated with this, but is just happy to be there most of the time
