The Boeing 737 MAX 10 is the largest variant in the 737 MAX family, designed to carry up to 230 passengers to compete directly with the Airbus A321neo. Stretched to 43.8 metres in length, it features a unique telescoping main landing gear system that extends during takeoff to prevent tail strikes on the runway. Powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines, the aircraft offers a maximum range of 3,100 nautical miles while delivering optimal seat-mile economics for high-density, short-to-medium-haul routes. Following its first flight in 2021, its entry into commercial service has been delayed by rigorous FAA certification processes, with first deliveries to major customers like United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Ryanair currently projected for late 2026 or 2027.
