I use she /her pronouns and I am currently in the BST time zone!! I live in the UK! My age range is 14-16 years old!! I have been a DBDer since December 2025/January 2026. I speak english as a main language but I also speak a bit of Spanish!! • managing experiences I currently manage Goobertopia and Scratch City which are both chatrooms on scratch! I am fairly certain goobertopia has over 10,000 curators so it is a pretty large community!!! I seriously love managing both studios!! Scratch City also has host shifts and a counter like the design delay, so I am familiar with those!! • Why do I want to become a manager for Different By Design? I would love to help out the community and keep our wonderful studio a safe and happy place for everyone!! I would really like to help everyone feel welcome!! • What do I think being a manager would involve? Making sure people are reminded of the rules and answering people's questions or directing them to help! Lots of patience and staying calm in difficult situations or under pressure!!! Communicating well with the rest of the managing team to help our studio run smoothly! • Why do I think I would make a good manager? I am very reliable and mature when necessary, even if I dont always seem sensible I can absolutely show maturity and trustworthiness when required. I love managing scratch city and goobertopia!! I believe I have been managing goobertopia for a long time now and I have so far really enjoyed it! I understand that goobertopia and DBD are run slightly differently, however! I am keen to learn about managing DBD too!! I love helping people and I really would like to help keep our wonderful studio in check! I have often been told I am kind and trustworthy by other scratchers!! I am patient and I can stay calm under pressure!! I love speaking to new people and making friends! I always try my very best to make people feel better and support everyone!! :> I am always open to polite critique and feedback about my work and I love to know how I can improve as a person!! • downsides + weaknesses I think I'd have as a manager? I often find it difficult to approach people about rule breaking, particularly in vent comments but I am trying extremely hard to improve at this skill and I believe that I have significantly improved over my time on scratch! I am also not available on ANY off sites (except zippr if that counts XD), so I hope that isnt too much of an inconvenience !! • What are some ideas I have for improving the studio? I love the studio as it is, and I would find it difficult to make some changes but maybe more games or quizzes run in the studio would be great!! Also I think lots of DBDers experience 'favouritism' and new DBDers can find it difficult fitting in. I understand this may be a problem in the studio and I would love to help everyone, including new members, feel welcomed!! • availability + activity Im active on scratch and on DBD for a few hours every day!
