Uhh, Ghosty Alien Stage OC(s) info dump i guess

Use arrow keys left and right arrow keys, or tap image Apologies in advance for the butchered quality T^T Okay so- originally this OC was just me attempting (and failing) to draw Ghosty in the ALNST style in a past project. But then I decided fleshing her out into another character would be cool so- Here's Ghalia, my probably kind of mid ALNST oc. Don't expect her to be too well written, I kinda made her on whim. She's part of the 49th season of Alien Stage. As far as I know, there isn't much info on how it went except that Luka won, and Hyuna lost but escaped. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) That makes it easier for me to plop her in there. I'll split the lore up into sections so it's easier for me to separate my thoughts instead of word vomiting onto this thing. Btw, just a note: I initially only got into ALNST through the songs, and while I have looked into Alien Stage lore since then, please don't expect me to know every inch of the lore. I just wanted to make this OC for fun. If there are any lore inconsistencies feel free to tell me, but please be nice about it. That's all, thanks! ^^ Early Childhood: She was born in a Human Modification Center and adopted by Nurai (4th picture, feel free to give tips because I need help designing non-human characters T^T). Nurai only really used her as decoration and to show off. She treated Ghalia well enough(physically), but often didn't acknowledge her existence when no one was around and would react harshly to any sort of disorder or talk-back. Very quickly Ghalia realized that it was easier to never say anything at all and simply do what she was told. This impacted her ability to socialize with others, but also granted her the special talent of being extraordinarily quiet. The only times she was permitted to "speak" was when she was asked to sing. As a result, she became rather fond of singing, it being one of her only outlets. Anakt Garden: Her tendency to stay silent continued even around her peers. She would only speak if spoken to, and even then her responses were often terse and left little room for an actual in depth conversation. Interacting with her was a hassle, which ended up isolating her from her peers. Most of her "interactions" were just her sitting in silence and watching as others do their own thing around her. (Sub-Section)-Hyuna and Hyun Woo: The pair tried harder than others to get her to open up. They sort of succeeded(?), with Ghalia walking up to them and sitting with them more than others. Her verbal responses were just as concise however. Somehow, she never knew of Hyun Woo's death. One day he was there, the next he wasn't. Luka: Okay, this is kind of a wild one, but this is Alien Stage so she's REQUIRED to have at least one unhealthy relationship with another human being. Ghalia views Luka as everything she wants to be, everything a "perfect human pet" is supposed to be. She idolizes him almost as much as the aliens in the crowd do. This is a problem though, as she's never really spoken to him. I'm bad at explaining this, but it's sort of like a parasocial relationship?? Not exactly, because Luka does know she exists, it's just he doesn't know her nearly enough to warrant how she views him, as the greatest ideal. Alien Stage: As previously stated, as far as I know, there isn't much info on how the 49th season went except that Luka won, and Hyuna lost but escaped. If this is wrong please correct me. (But be nice about it please T_T) The general gist of how it goes for her is that, whether it be her 1st or 2nd round, she gets paired with Luka, has the time of her life, then loses because there's no way she's beating him. In the end she's simply just another forgotten competitor. Not interesting enough to be remembered by the crowd, and hardly impactful enough to be mourned by any. The only thing left is a foggy memory of a girl who used to sit nearby in silence, watching like a ghost. (Get it- because like, she was supposed to be Ghosty- Idk, I dunno what I'm talking about anymore.) Random: -Place of Birth: Human Modification Center -Additional Likes: Books, Horror Stories -Additional Dislikes: Sudden touch, Public speaking -Ignore her hair, her light stick/signature color is red. -I tried replicating the style, but it's pretty bad -I thought about putting her in Durian's place, but decided against it in the end. -I considered playing around with the idea of Ghalia accidentally emulating Hyuna during her performace with Luka, because she's the only female she's really been close to and thus picked up a few of her mannerisms. I thought it would be cool, but I don't know if I should actually add it. -The most memorable thing about Ghalia to Luka (minus the consideration above) is the fact that she's hard to remember. -In the Actor AU she'd probably be part of the sound or special effects crew -Cont. below (desc too long)
