JUNCTION FOUR // CHAPTER ONE

YAY ok so we hit the goal for the prolouge so here is chapter one enjoyyyyyyyy :] Junction Four ::: Chapter one ----------------------- 'Another one' When I woke up again, I was in a large, padded room. Nothing felt real, it was all strange. The walls were a pure, polished white and the floor a soft cushion texture. There was a single figure about a few meters away from me but It was hard to tell how far exactly like I normally could, since my perception of distance was hazy and confusing. It was a yellow shape, with glassy blue wings and dark, spiked arms. It was lifting something up to its head then leaning back and swallowing it, but I could not make out what that was. I stood up. Almost immediately that...strange creature stopped what it was doing and sat still unnervingly. It didn't talk at all, it just seemed to listen. I didn't know what this thing was, but I didn't want to interact with it at all so I instead slowly backed away, hoping it wouldn't chase after me. By the time I had reached the back wall, the thing had gone back to eating whatever it was and I had some time to think of where I was. Looking around, I seemed to be in a large pure white room. The roof had four symmetrical spotlights in each corner of the room and on the left wall high up was a darkened window panel, presumably one-way glass. I started coming back to terms of my current reality I'm In a huge asylum room it seems. With some kind of creature. Being held captive by...something. My head was throbbing though it was no longer bleeding my antlers seemed...stronger than normal I couldn't feel my tail And my patterns were painful to look at. I took a deep breath then let out a long groan, falling to my side in a state of annoyance. My gaze drifted back over to that yellow and blue beetle creature but it wasn't there anymore. Panic set in and I closed my eyes, only to feel a soft brush against my back. I opened my eyes again and turned my head to see a whirlwind of yellow fur and shiny blue wings circling around me on the wall, gripping onto the soft, padded wall with it's spiked arms. "What the-" It stops circling and instead jumps down infront of me, pinning me down. "HI!! OMG HIIIII!! WHO ARE YOU WHAT ARE YOU EEEP!" "You can talk-" "Why of course I can talk! I'm nothing to be scared of" "How did you know I was scared of you..?" "Oh, you don't need to worry about that right now! Tell me about yourself!! It's been SOOOO lonely since they took the others.." Holy ----, it could talk. I could've been dreaming, but again i can't have because I could feel her claws on my arms and the pain in my head. "Uh, I'm Cern, I'm a groundpacer.." "HI CERN!!! I'm Citrine but they all call me VBA 2! I'm also a groundpacer but I'm more of a groundflyer if that makes sense!" "No it doesn't, but can you tell me about 'they'? Or 'him' or 'the others'?? And what's with the VBA???" "Oh, you don't know? Well I dont either so that's convinient!" This wasn't going well.. "Okay, well can you tell me how you got here and what you remember?" "Sure" This could be a start. And I had to find out what the hell was going on.
