» Hello!!! about me; You can call me Jax! I'm a teenager and i am trans, my pronouns are he/him! I love to draw and rp, mostly just on scratch lol. idk what else to put here </3 » Barnaclekit (Baba) » Simple personality: -Clingy -Overthinker -Aloof =Quiet =Compliant =Reserved +Observant +Wise +Polite » Complex personality: Barnacle is a somewhat peculiar individual. He is intensely loyal and clingy to those he trusts and is close with, and he also hates to be away from them. Barnacle is a very polite and amicable cat, he will not often argue. despite his inclination to do as he is told and frequently help others, Barnacle struggles to actually empathize with what they're actually feeling. He is smart and observational enough to gather what might help or what he /should/ say, and he does this, but he doesn't particularly feel or share their own emotions. » Transmasc - He/they/it » Demisexual + Ceterosexual (attraction to people outside of the gender binary) »Extra: -Barnacle likes to hide- he feels safer. as a kit he "hides" by covering his eyes with his paws. - I plan to get him a corvid buddy and for him to make some seaweed into like a comfort toy <3 - Dislikes crunchy food like crab or bones, it hurts his mouth :( - Vc: Peter Parker research: » Separation anxiety disorder: Identical twins are more likely to have neurological disorders than fraternal or non twins. Both twins may exhibit the same or different disorders, in this case, Barnacle has separation anxiety while his sibling does not. Separation anxiety is a common phase in childhood, but for those with the disorder, it goes further. Barnacle will be intensely attached to his mother, his twin, and potentially his mentor. Barnacle will exhibit extreme distress when being separated from one of his "safe people". He may throw a tantrum or have a panic attack if forced to separate, a panic attack can even occur at the thought of separation. He may worry or have nightmares about something bad happening to him or his loved one when he is not with them. Barnacle may have trouble away from home or even sleeping on his own. He may also complain of head or stomach aches during or before a time where he might need to be separate. Barnaclekit's anxiety will develop into a disorder in his late kit-hood and early apprenticeship. depending on how things go with him this disorder may worsen later in life resulting in other or more extreme anxiety disorders. sources: The Mayo Clinic, Nueroluanch. this was added by me so I can remove it if you'd prefer. » Identical twin: I don't believe he needs research, but notes on proper twins in cats: kittens born that LOOK like twins are very common, however genetically identical (monozygotic) identical twins are not! the only way of being sure that two cats are identical is via a DNA test or if you saw them born sharing the same placenta and amniotic sac. Another note- not all monozygotic twins are actually identical! due to the way their fur colors and patterning are decided, each kitten can get a different looks from whichever X chromosome appears.
