The Federal Soviet has officially lost control. The protests have grown so large, and so powerful, yet ridiculously organized under their supposed, "leader", that the government's grasp on internal information and even foreign affairs, has tripped, and fallen. The Department of the COPA, along with multiple other Ministries, have entered states of political shutdown due to Leboski's support amongst the great majority of Tanakvikians and Soviets alike, making it impossible to fairly enact the policies requested by Viktor Kortchev. In many international circles, those who have came from the OCCP have openly stated that, "Yuri Leboski is our General Secretary, not Viktor 'Coward' Kortchev." In the streets, while necessary industries and services continue such as policing, armed forces, and medical, those who work for non-essentials, like the fields of STEM, the most valuable workers in the country, have went into the streets to speak for their laboring neighbors. The numbers are staggering, with roughly 92.6 Million Tanakvikian citizens in open protest, undoubetly the largest protest movement in feline history. Despite the high numbers, these 92.6 Million have remained peaceful, chanting slogans, song, and dances. Music is kept oddly quiet, and at night, mass collections of tents, fires, and other shelters are assembled, then, taken down and fully cleaned, leaving the area just as it was when they came. The protesters have not interfered with their fellows' work and travel, and as such, are respected by locals and travelers, making the message more vibrant, and supportable. When the government usually comes in to attempt a removal, the local PolSec and even military forces have continually just, stood there, purposely avoiding their duties due to the calm, peaceful nature of the protests. While the Kortchev administration has tried on multiple occasions to implement agitators, the agitators usually are disregarded, noticed, and calmly pushed out of the crowd, left to be a fringe example of, as some have put it, "indecent individuals for unnecessary violence between Tanakvikians." In cases of violence during these protests, in almost all cases, it has stemmed from a ravenous supporter of the, "Bolsheviks" becoming hands-on with protesters. In all cases so far, the instigator is usually pulled away and arrested by the local PolSec. The Great Reform recently held a poll in Moscon and a rural town called Myglensk, interviewing 10,000 total individuals. Out of the city's 9,820 interviewees, roughly 87% stated that they supported the reform movement, supported the protesters, and supported Yuri Leboski. Within the rural town, an unanimous agreement of 100% of interviewees supported the reform, protesters, and Yuri Leboski. The protesters have also begun demanding the release of Soviet citizens involved in foreign appeasement, including the unjustly arrested sixteen from multiple weeks ago, who were charged with mobbing a still missing touring Vespacian family. Across the Soviet Federation, roughly ~51 Million cats have risen up on their own, demanding similar to the Tanakvikians, with 71% of these protesters even demanding that their respective SSRs accept Tanakvikian rule and integration, especially for those within Tanakvia, this call is extremely popular.
