what you see here are 4 screenshots of the FIFA World Cup broadcasts on The Weather Channel and TWC Flantian. they had done this since 2014 when they got the access. viewers were confused and mad over this decision, because, well, it is a ***weather*** channel, so Flan inc. changed it in the 2018 coverage by adding back the local forecast UI (main screen at the top left, and the backwards l-shaped weather information), similar to the one in the USA. they also added a feature the same year that when there is severe weather alert, it would stop broadcasting the match and cover the weather. during the weather coverage, text would scroll, saying "To continue watching matches, switch to Flan or Flan Télé, or the Sportsome channels."
