Instructions

Two strangers appear out of nowhere. (This is an idea I've had for a LOONG time. I am just using this as an excuse to make lore, though I still want to do this RP :3) The one of the left is the Federal Germanics' Reich, a centralised, Fascist-Marxist state. They have an actual Marxist economy :O and are extremely Nationalistic. They are controlled by the "National Marxist Germans' Party", with a strongman dictator. Everyone German is 'equal' in every way, and the strongest are in the military. The military is their focus, being described as a 'military with a state'. All consumer goods are basically illegal, and everyone gets by with only what they need. Basically, a more Socialistic and more extreme NAZIs (Somehow-). They are Lutheran, though they removed all the "Jewish" parts and replaced it with German-Paganism. Their goal is to estate Global Marxism, though believe only Germanics can actually live under that Marxist society. They are a EXTREMELY industrial society, though they try to be self-sufficient. the one on the right is the Holy German Confederation. They are a Confederal Republic, led by the Diet, which are elected officials from every Principality, which all have their own form of governance. They elect the Kaiser, any Habsburg, who manages the bureaucracy, military, etc, for the Diet, but still can be removed and has less power than the Diet. They are devoutly Catholic, though there are a few non-Catholic Principalities. Most of their economy is a mixture of Distributism and Corporatism, all family businesses that work together in harmony. They have a very agrarian society, though they do have some cities and such, getting what they need through trade, though they try not to be greedy. They are from an alternate universe. Basically, Austria never expanded too far south. The Austro-Prussian war ended in a stalemate, with Italy not joining, and causing a permanent divide. The South and North went completely different paths, with the North being influenced by German philosophers (Racists, Nationalists, Communists) and the South being influenced by mostly Catholicism, but also by Western Liberalism. They fought each other hard in World War One, with most of the trench warfare happening on South-German soil. They were most devastated by the war, though North-German ended up losing the war. It was Southern Germany, France, Britain, America, Italy, etc, against North Germany, Russia, Serbia, etc. (Very weird war). Southern Germany would go down the same path as Italy after the war, turning to their own weird blend of Fascism and agreeing to unite with the Northern Germans. Together, they dominated the world, though internal division and the entire world eventually destroyed them. Southern Germany would be occupied by America/France/Britain while Northern Germany would be occupied by the Soviet Union. All the Soviets did was rebrand Germany and put into power their own puppet. They attempted to make Germany appear more Socialist, though the German people began an uprising and the Soviets quickly backed down. Southern Germany would eventually be united into a Confederation of all the different local identities. Northern Germany and Southern Germany entered into an arms and economic race, both rapidly growing, though all of Northern Germany's wealth was going into the military. In 1950, the Federal Germanics' Reich invaded the Holy German Confederation, with permission from the Soviets. This started a massive proxy war, currently happening in their world, which massively raised tensions and threatens to spill over into a World War.
