~~THIS STORY IS ABOUT LONERS WHO LIVE IN TWOLEGPLACE, NOT KITTYPETS~~ Characters: Lily, Vanilla, Golden, Fae, and Spice Chapter Two Lily looked out towards the deeper part of the woods. The part that no one ever went to. Well, no one except Fae. He was always more adventurous than the other loners in this twolegplace. They used to be friends, but then Fae decided to start going deeper into the woods. Now it was all he ever talked about. Lily wondered if she should go deeper into woods with Fae, but she didn't want to. Besides, those were the rules that were set by the cats who lived in this twolegplace first. Lily's ancestors. She didn't want to break those rules. //But of course, Fae does. He always breaks rules.// She suddenly felt Vanilla nudging her, snapping her back to attention. "Um... Lily?" he said. "What?" Lily's eyes then fell upon Vanilla's prey. "Oh, nice catch." Then a loud, furious yowl shook the air. "Oh, mouse droppings," //They're fighting!? AGAIN!?// "Not again." Lily sighed. She sped off towards the alley, where she encountered Golden and Spice yelling at each other. It seemed like they were arguing over a squirrel that Spice had stolen from Golden. "YOU JUST ATE!!! You can't be hungry already!?" Spice snarled loudly. "Oh, so now it's illegal to catch prey for someone?" Golden retorted. "Hey! QUIT THAT!" Lily shouted, and added "Mouse-brains." under her breath. "Oh, *pant pant* hi Golden, hi Spice. *pant pant* Lily, why are you so fast *pant pant*" "Oh, hi Vanilla. I'm fast because I want to be." Lily answered. Then she returned to scolding Spice. "Spice, you outrageous mouse-brain, quit yelling at people for no good reason. We're allowed to catch prey for other cats." "Can't they catch prey themselves?" Spice growled. "No, because they might be sick or injured. Spice, you can either go catch prey yourself, or wait for a twoleg to drop some food." Lily said sternly. //And we all know which one he'll choose, the lazy mouse-brain.// Spice growled something under his breath that Lily couldn't make out and stalked off.
