I was in a car for a while and I was bored so I drew this. LORE (In a poem): The crown is heavy, the marble is cold, And the heaviest secrets are never told. I was the shadow, the brush, the eyes, Before the castle was swallowed by lies. The princess was gold, a radiant thing,The pride of the court, a beast for the king.Until the night that the tapestries bled,And the dark came to claim what the people raised and fed. I stood in the corner, a ghost in the room, A helpless witness to the gathering gloom. I saw what it did, I heard what it tore, Now that shape is engraved on the back of my door. The princess is changed, or the princess is gone, But the feast must continue, the court must march on.The king wears a smile that is sharper than knives, Trading our blood for the dark that he buys. They call me Cassandra, they call me insane,A cracked little vessel of static and pain.I sweep up the ashes, I pour out the wine, But my mind isn't whole, and it isn't quite mine. - snowyfell*
