Ok first of all please don’t be mean too me these are just some of my guesses and thoughts AND I MIGHT NOT BE 100% RIGHT >>SECOND ⚠️ ‼️ THERE IS MENTION OF MENTAL ILLNESS AND SOME SORT OF ABUSE IN A WAY AND MURDER SO IF U DONT KNOW ABT THIS GUY (Mikoto) OR MILGRAM AND DONT LIKE ANY OF THE ABOVE PLEAZE DONT READ THANK YOU! Its impossible too form DID even as a teenager like me so definitely impossible for a guy thats in his 20s or smth. In his report I don’t think it was stated much abt his divorced parents and his mom n lil sis yk. But he did stated that he gets along with his mother well. Im guessing that Mikoto is also just a kid when his had a “divorce” then it’s probably involving some sort of argument or a trigger point right? I mean there’s no other way too make this DID make sense other than when his parents might be arguing and somehow might have contained some sort of direct life threat to him. So if what I said is true, why didn’t his DID happen or mentioned when he was a child but only happened later on when he’s 23? DID can start as fragments than immediately becoming a full identity so in the early days JOHN might have just been fragments only and fragments won’t affect him so much as a kid? “Fragments in DID and OSDD are specialized, less-developed parts of a system that hold specific traumatic memories, emotions, or daily functions. Unlike fully formed alters, they usually do not have a broad personality or identity of their own, but they deeply impact a system by causing unexpected emotional shifts, bodily sensations, or trauma reliving” yeah it will still affect him as a kid but it won’t affect him that much when it like how JOHN affected him later on when he started working. Mikoto had always been good at things right? Like communication skills etc (stated from his report) so that means that his life when he’s with his lil sis and mom was pretty good overall so he had a pretty okay and nice childhood and all probably. But later on he got stressed at work and all that severe adult stress can cause existing fragments to grow and develop into full alternate personalities. When an adult faces a prolonged crisis (like a toxic job, a bad breakup etc), a specific fragment may be forced to stay "at the front" and control the body for days or weeks at a time. So that’s probably what happened during the 48 hrs where John killed those people. Mikoto mentioned how he doesn’t want too tell his family about how’s he really doing so he just say he’s okay and all. Holding back true feelings from his family definitely requires immense mental energy and drains someone which can make them break down at night when their by themselves and some cry until the point they want to puke. To keep a smiling, "okay" face in front of his family (probably) while his mind is drowning in work stress, the system will often delegate the pain. The fragment might be assigned to hold all the terror, anger, and exhaustion from the toxic job, keeping it locked away so his family doesn't see it. This fragment becomes the dedicated container for an unspoken suffering. AND An alter or fragment holding this specific burden is much MORE LIKELY to be aggressive, angry, or intensely defensive. Alters their born too protect the host, but in real life situations ALTERS wouldn’t COMMIT MURDER. AND for a ALTER too commit a murder (which is almost impossible too happen): The new identity might have to be experiencing a severe psychotic break. They might be hearing a voice telling them they must kill to save themselves, or experiencing a delusion. They strike out because their brain is completely warping reality, this happens but the host has no control for this. If this is ALSO true then what makes John hear voices and who would say those things to him? I remember there was an old theory for Mikoto which is the trikoto theory? So maybe the other alter might be the one too say those too John. But the theory it was never confirmed so I’m not sure but this is the only way I think what I’m saying could make sense. “One alter can absolutely say things or broadcast violent thoughts to another alter internally WITHOUT the host knowing” so Mikoto doesn’t know about any of what’s happening within his other two alters and stuffs.
