A few months later, the Christmas Ball took place. Natascha was dancing with Fiete. Rin was dancing with Luon Abbot—also a Ravenclaw—whom she had only recently met. Although Natascha found Luon very nice and likable, she didn't have any romantic feelings for him. Once the dances for the first-years were over, only third- and seventh-years were allowed to dance. Frida, Natascha’s older sister, was dancing too; she was with her boyfriend, Yuto Tanaka. He was Japanese and friends with Nene and Mei. Natascha thought he was very nice as well. After the dance, it was announced that there would be another ball on the first day of the next school year. Just as Natascha was about to head to the Ravenclaw common room with Fiete, a boy with short black hair stopped her. He was wearing Slytherin robes and holding his wand. "You're Natascha Granger, aren't you?" he asked. "Yes, that's me." "Okay. I wanted to ask if you might like to dance with me at the next ball?" "Hmm... Actually, I already have a dance partner." With those words, the boy walked away, leaving Natascha and Fiete alone again. It was dark outside, and snow was falling. The corridors were lit only by the faint glow of candles. When they arrived at the common room, Rin was already waiting for them.

She is a witch, and her Animagus form is a black cat; as a cat, she goes by the name Crowstripe. She lived with SeaClan until the age of four, then moved to Manchester with her parents and began attending a Muggle primary school at six. At eleven, she went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw. There, she met Rin Andrew and her cousin Fiete Andrew, as well as Ilia Gryffindor and Darija Bloom; Ilia is a Gryffindor, while Darija is also in Ravenclaw. At the end of her first year, she met Lias Gryffindor, Ilia’s younger brother. Natascha’s older sister, Frida, also attends Hogwarts; she is two years older than Natascha and performs much better academically. While Natascha consistently gets poor grades, her sister Frida always earns top marks. Her friend Ilia also excels at school. In her first year, Natascha joined the Hogwarts orchestra, where she plays the violin. She made the Hogwarts football team in her second year and joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in her third. Natascha has an owl named Voldi; there is also the family owl, Nimbus, which used to belong to her mother.
