The exams were just around the corner. It was quiet in the corridors as everyone was studying. But Natascha couldn't concentrate. She kept thinking about Fiete—about the way he had smiled at her when they danced together. Natascha went outside and transformed into a cat. Just as she was heading toward the woods, another cat came toward her. Natascha recognized her immediately; it was Darkpond. Darkpond trotted up to her. "Tascha, what are you doing here?" "Oh, Fiete, I couldn't concentrate." "Me neither." "Why not?" asked Natascha. "I... I... I kept thinking about you," Fiete said sheepishly. "Me too."

She is a witch, and her Animagus form is a black cat; as a cat, she goes by the name Crowstripe. She lived with SeaClan until the age of four, then moved to Manchester with her parents and began attending a Muggle primary school at six. At eleven, she went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw. There, she met Rin Andrew and her cousin Fiete Andrew, as well as Ilia Gryffindor and Darija Bloom; Ilia is a Gryffindor, while Darija is also in Ravenclaw. At the end of her first year, she met Lias Gryffindor, Ilia’s younger brother. Natascha’s older sister, Frida, also attends Hogwarts; she is two years older than Natascha and performs much better academically. While Natascha consistently gets poor grades, her sister Frida always earns top marks. Her friend Ilia also excels at school. In her first year, Natascha joined the Hogwarts orchestra, where she plays the violin. She made the Hogwarts football team in her second year and joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in her third. Natascha has an owl named Voldi; there is also the family owl, Nimbus, which used to belong to her mother.
