Hi! <33 uhhhhh don't mind the title About me: Hiiii! I'm @Glistenfeather, a huge procrastinator and artist. I love role-playing. This is my first ever time applying for a kit. I'm so exited! I love writing and drawing. I am a quadruplet with three brothers and I go by she/her and they/them. I am so exited to be applying for Torrentkit! Activity level: I am extremely active right now! I am on summer break and have around 8 weeks left, so I'm definitely more active. I'm normally able to log on everyday for 30 minutes to an hour. So, I would rank myself about a 7/10. Roleplay History: This is my first ever time applying for a kit idk what this is XD. I have done other basic roleplays, which I thoroughly enjoy, but I've been wanting to join gens for a while. I have so so many role-plays.... I wish I could name them all but heh, I might say that is would categorize as impossible. The kit I'm applying for: I am applying for the beautiful Torrentkit. I love and adore her design. She seems very quaint and elegant, and I love that. The colors, her eyes, everything about her is beautiful! I think that the art is amazing! Roleplay examples: 1. The autumn chill and the wind aroused Torrentkit from her gentle sleep. She yawned and tiptoed out of the nursery, careful not to wake anyone up. "You've been...spacey today. Not just today, but for a while now." Sliverkit's voice rang in her head. She was right. Torrentkit was just pondering over and over why her mother had left. It angered her. They were just kits, and she /deserted/ them. Left them for dead. She wanted to yell. "Why?!" She screeched. "I don't understand, what did we do?!" She felt the tears stream down her face. "What did we do to deserve being left for dead, Kia?" Torrentkit said weakly. She heard paw steps behind her, almost drowned out by her inconsolable wails. 2. Torrentkit quietly said to the elders, as they were about to start another story, "Perhaps I may be excused from your wonderful storytelling? I truly would love to stay, but I think I should go check on my siblings. Maybe, only if you would like, I can bring you a piece of prey." She said sweetly. The elders agreed and sent her off. She came back, hauling a squirrel twice the size of her to the elders den. When she entered, she heard a few snickers and giggles, but she didn't mind. She gently set the massive squirrel down and padded out of the den to play moss ball with the other kits.The ball was tossed to her, which she jumped over and attempted to kick towards Crashkit, but instead toppled over onto the ground. Crashkit snickered. "What a graceful landing, Torrentkit." She hissed. "Oh, shut up!" Torrentkit growled. And threw the moss ball as hard as her possibly could at him. "Mouse-brain." She growled through gritted teeth. 3. The soft scent of herbs walloped Torrentkit. when she entered the medicine den. She always enjoyed examining the herbs. The medicine cat smiled warmly at her. "Come to watch me?" They asked. She nodded vigorously. She loved watching the medicine cat in work. She watched them apply poultices to a warrior who got scratched. They sent the warrior on their way and said, very seriously, "Torrentkit, I've noted how you enjoy learning about herbs and helping me while I am in work. I am getting older, and I need an apprentice. Perhaps you would like to accompany me on my journey as a medicine cat?" Torrentkit felt stunned. "I... I' sorry, but I don't feel like being a medicine cat is my destiny. I truly still would like to help you and still accompany you, but I cannot be your apprentice." She said firmly. The medicine cat nodded solemnly. "I understand." They said sweetly. She nodded in respect and padded out of the medicine den. Personality and how they feel about Kia's abandonment: (Yay! I love writing somewhat villain arcs >:D So she's not going to be entirely evil, but she isn't going to be good) Ever since Kia's abandoning of Torrentkit and her siblings, Torrenkit was always a little cold. Although she felt she had to stay strong, for her siblings. She truly was broken though. She could not portray why she own mother would just betray and abandon her. Often, she would gaze around the nursery and long for a loving mother that the other kits had. Perhaps she was jealous. She felt angered that her mother had left her, and something that made this pain worse was that she didn't even know why Kia left them. Yet, she saw the other kits and their mothers. The caring, kind mothers that were always there. Always there when the kits needed them. But, she was left alone in the forest, left for dead, left with two siblings, all of them weak. Left by their own mother, whom they had barely even gotten to know. She felt angered. Why? She had always wanted to find their mother again and ask her that question. Why leave them? Continued in N+C
Soon on, her anger pulsated. After apprenticeship, she heard the soft ringing of her mother's voice inconsistently. She felt as if she couldn't trust anybody, except for her siblings and her best friend. What was the point in trusting cats? What if they betrayed her and left her for dead, just like Kia did. One day, she felt broken. More broken then ever, It seemed as if her should and heart had shattered. She crumbled between a part of herself that loved her mother and longed for her to come back, more than anything. And another that hated Kia beyond imagination. She wanted to impress her mother, to become one of the strongest and skilled warriors ever and show Kia that it was a mistake to leave them. But maybe she could train for reasons that differ. Maybe she could eliminate her mother. She was ultimately torn between her loving and loathing Kia. Future gender and sexuality: Note that this may change as I examine more of this character. For gender: Torrentkit identifies as a female presence, using the pronouns she/her (AFAB). Later on, she feels slightly misplaced and, not fully disposing of her former pronouns, goes by she/they (mostly she, though). Sexuality and romantic attractions: As a kit and young apprentice,she is still unaware of any sexual orientations besides heterosexual. But as she learns about other romantic and s3xual attractions, she labels herself as pansexual and quioromantic. Then, as a warrior, she also labels herself as berriromantic and abrosexual (still including past sexualities). --Personality (+) Kind, empathetic, beautiful, polite, resilient. (1/2) Impulsive, charismatic, sarcastic, stubborn (-) Bitter, disrespectful occasionally, dishonest. Why I want this kit: Chat I would love this kit for so many reasons. one is I want chicken wings for a very long time now, but I just haven't found a kit yet that I found suitable. Now, I have found one! This kit is beautiful and quaint. I love everything about her, and the art, which is amazing omggggg so peak.
