Yes. Even adult cartoons need rules. Unless you have the IQ power of Billy Rule 1: If the Character curses, make it sound like it’s actually going to say no no word. Don’t be like Vivziepop and make the characters curse for every 2 seconds unnecessarily otherwise it will not only feel like it’s ripping off another show but also it’s just unfunny Rule 2: If the character dies, he/she/they/it comes back to the next episode. It will be quite risky if the character dies forever Rule 3: If it’s a satirical episode, make a good point and have some soul in it (and respect it a little bit) unless you’re chimptopia and starts bashing the show/game/etc that has fans without any respect Rule 4: If the characters does a crazy/cartoonish expression, do the Ren and Stimpy technique and start making the characters off model Rule 5: do not make the jokes way too controversial (that even me will never do) even though it’s a satirical stick figure YouTube Cartoon Series, It needs boundaries too Rule 6: if the scene contains gross out humor, prepare it for build up, otherwise it will make the audience uncomfortable Rule 7: if the characters look the same, the personalities have to be different otherwise it will come off extremely confusing Rule 8: Limited Animation can BE a good thing since most RT have limited animation especially if you’re a beginner animator cuz adding way too much animation is time consuming and unnecessary. Yes, You can absolutely make fluid and smooth animation. I’m not stopping you, but don’t be like John K. (I hate that man so much it broke my blood vessel) and just smooth clutter all over the screen. I like his animations (not the MAN himself) but you cannot convince me that will NOT take weeks or months of pulling that off and finishing it Rule 9: if the characters has weird proportions/designs/animation. Do not judge a book by its cover. It can still be funny. It’s the Final Cut to blame Rule 10: if the character gets hurt, ease into it. Don’t be like Some SpongeBob Episodes (the show is still peak) and start beating up the characters without meaning otherwise it’ll make me feel mean to my creations. Make it happen if the character deserves it or it’s actually funny Rule 11: If the Episodes have ripped audio from other stuff (which it’s extremely common just for the funnies) Don’t plagiarize, Inspire
