Camp SunnyDream - Part 1, Welcome to the Camp! I dragged my feet downstairs and sat at the table. "Good morning," Mom said. " 'Morning," I said, while pouring some cereal. "Great news," Mom said. "What?" I asked. "I signed you up for Summer camp, the one that's fun and perfect for spending time in Summer break!" I gasped, almost spilling my cereal; "Why did you sign me up for that?? I wanted to hang out with my friends at the pool and play tennis!" "Because you can't just 'hang out' every Summer! You need to get out and learn to do things with your hands, and learn survival tips, and-" "But-" "No buts, okay? You're going so you can learn. Your teacher told me that you got F+ TWO TIMES Test Week! It's time you learn something about nature." "Aww!.." I groaned, putting my bowl in the sink. "You will be starting camp in a week!" Mom said. [CHAPTER 2, Day Before the Big Day] I guess that was it for me that day. I can't go with my friends to play, they're gonna forget about me the time I get back, and they don't get to go to that 2nd Grade CAMP! It's no fair!! I had to go to school today, cause it's Thursday. I was walking with my best friend, Hazel Meyers. "It's too bad you can't hang for Summer," Hazel said. "Yeah, to a 2ND GRADE SUMMER CAMP." I sighed. "You wanna sit next to me at lunch?" Hazel asked. "Sure. I'm still angry about Summer Camp though," I grumbled. While me and Hazel were walking down the hall, my biggest enemy, Olivia Pansy hanged her head downwards and had the most annoyed look on her face. "UGHH!! I have to go to this dumb Summer Camp that looks like it's for little BABIES!" Me and Hazel chuckled. "What are you laughing at?!" Olivia yelled. Me and Hazel immediately stopped snickering. "Um.." Hazel hesitated. "..We were laughing at... the boy that is getting slammed into his locker by that bully over there.." I mumbled. "Oh! Uh, yeah, we w-were?.." Hazel said. "..Okay, I GUESS. BYE." Olivia said, storming off. When it was lunch, I didn't really talk. The reason why was because I was thinking, how did I actually talk back to Olivia? "Are you okay, Sao?" Hazel asked. "Yeah, never better." I said. " Ok, then. I'll be at the store. Bye, Sao :)" Hazel said. Hazel left, and I was around the rest of my friend group. they were talking to each other, and I decided to see what all of them were talking about. "What are you talking about?" I asked my friends. "Oh, nothing. Just about the AMAZING PARTY we're having next week!" Said Millie Rains. "All of us will be there!!" Jane Fairson squealed happily. "Oh... um, great!.." I said a little sadly. I didn't talk to anyone the rest of the day. 'Cuz I'll miss out on all of this fun because of camp!! >:( [CHAPTER 3, Sunny, Sunny Dream Camp] The next day, I had to wake up at 5AM to get ready for camp. The reason at 5AM is because the bus comes at 6AM, and it takes 2 HOURS to get there. I packed all my things, said bye to my mom and dad, then I got onto the bus outside. When I was finding a seat, I saw Olivia on the bus too, groaning. At least I could sit next to Millie's older sister, Juniper Rains. "You 'get stuck here too?" Juniper asked. "Yeah, I guess." I said. "I wonder why your younger sister, Millie can't come." "Cause she's too 'YOUNG' to come. And I got in trouble for making Millie slip." Juniper said furiously. "Oh.." I said, fidgeting with my fingers. "Okay everyone!" Our teacher, Ms. Jasine said loudly. "We'll be driving for a long time, so keep distracted with your things. We don't want too much noise in the bus, Like last time.." A HOUR LATER... "We've been in this bus FOREVER!..." Juniper sighed. "Everyone, good news! You will be able to walk around the bus now." Ms. Jasine announced. "FINALLY!!" the students yelled. "Hey, you wanna watch some videos online?" I asked Juniper. "Um, no thanks.. I'm gonna draw characters for my series. Thank you though." Juniper said calmly. I thought, "UGH. What are we supposed to do in this boring old bus?" "Okay campers! This is our stop!" Ms. Jasine said. " Grab your belongings and we'll get started our AMAZING CAMP! :D " We got outside, (I don't think anybody noticed) and the sky was a saturated blue. "Huh.. we must be in a totally different place now." I thought. A few minutes later, we all placed 1 flag by our campsite, put up our tents, all learned how to make a campfire, (INSANELY HARD) caught fish from the forest rivers, COOKED OURSELFS THE FISH, and went to sleep.
