So I was at a special needs event with my mom and disabled sister at an kids museum. It was fun and I got 2 compliments bc people recognized the Teto plush I brought bc why not. And while I was being s i l l y I tried to cross a bridge and a girl (prob 8-10) was guarding it and I said (An obvious joke) "Oh No! Ig I will give you my kid!" she asked to touch it, and I said yes as long as she is gentle. And then, she walked away with it and said she was gonna show a friend my plush. I obviously followed her, and she went up a crowded structure. I asked her, for my own comfort, if I could hold her (Teto) and she led me to the friend. She kept repeating she was gonna show a friend my plush and did not give me it. But we got somewhere (I was panicking a bit) around the top. The top was a small room with stairs going up, where I was ALMOST somewhere I could see the room and she was peaking in/able to put her hand in. I was scared and then I said something like "You showed them, can I have it back?" and she said "You can't. It was stolen." BUT THEN I say "Let me see..." And she gives it back and says nothing, probably realizing I would see it obviously wasn't. She also was, once again, silent. So she probably also knew I would be able to tell she stole it. But I can't tell whether she was a sibling or if she was disabled herself. Can someone help? If she wasn't disabled, she likely was old enough to know not to do that. I just realized I trust people too easily and I can't let go of people..... I cant remember but I think I said I'm joking when saying I was gonna give her my "child" I will pray for you!
