So if you live in the oregon metro area you have most likely have heard of the Pickathon Music Festival. AT WHATEVER COST DO NOT GO THERE. My parents build things for them for the past 4 years. My parents own a non-profit called BlackBird Public Arts yes im a walking billboard pls dont judge me lol. But back to the pickathon company. THEY ARE AWFUL GREEDY PIGS WITH NO HUMAN DECENTY. So first the thing that they did is that they tried to make their builders pay to build, not the other way around. Also last year the didn't even pay their beer vendors for the thoudsands of dollars worth of drinks they gave away. Next this year they refuse to feed the volunteers, leaving my parents to have to pay for hundreds of dollars worth of pizza each day. Lastly my parents are getting vibes that they are not going to get compensation for the thousands of hours they worked on the builds over the year, meaning that each year they usually get backstage tickets, but this year in an email the owner of pickathon kinda danced around no moretickets will be handed to volunteers. There is so much more that i dont want to write but yeah
