Candii here. Please read this whole thing. I’ve been debating making this project for a long time. I just want to say thank you, to few people who are still crushing gold fans, and this is not going to be a project saying the series is cancelled. That’s not what this is going to be. So… I am very aware that it has been over half of a year since the last chapter of crushing gold, and there is a reason for that. Some things happened in my life, for a while I was feeling completely unable to make a chapter, or do anything at all. But I have some news. Some of you might think it’s bad news, some of you might think it’s good news. So, most of you know this but when I made the cover for the first chapter, Chloe has a wildly different color pallet then she does in the chapter. That’s because I didn’t plan anything before making the chapter, I just drew. It was a stupid decision, yes, but at least I got the story going. I realise now how I badly explained some things, didn’t put enough effort into planning, literally messed up in some of the worst ways possible, and it wasn’t until chapter 3 that I actually had the story planned. If could go back and remake that prologue, that first chapter, literally restart the whole series, I would. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. The new crushing gold will be mostly the same as the old one, just better, actually planned, and it WILL be finished. Making a comic is a lot more fun if you actually have it planned out. I’m not kidding. I’m already working on ch 2 and have been making 4 to 8 panels a day. I want to get a little bit more ahead of myself before posting the new prologue, so it has no definite release date. But I do plan to release it somewhere between this Friday and this Sunday.
