I'm taking a break from Scratch for a bit because my mental health depends on it, and I want to focus on fresh horizons. "Friend Or Foe" wasn't meant to be just a basic project. What I shared here will be the LITE version. The FULL version will be my very first standalone game expansion! Compared to the LITE version, the full game will feature: - Save System - Many different animations and mood expressions - Over 100 different speech bubbles (and counting!) - Achievements - Improved physics (Now you can throw Blip anywhere, instead of just up!) - Tons of secrets and Easter Eggs - Original Music - Starting at 9 tools, with more unlocked as you play! Most of these features are already done. That is what I've been doing this whole time! Working on this brings me true joy. I was pushing myself too hard trying to become something more, and I hope you guys understand. :) -Rocky Wizard EXCLUSIVE FUN FACTS ABOUT THE GAME: - If you click on Blip's speech bubble, it pops and he gets mad. Do it too many times, and he'll jump at the screen and restart the game! - There's grass now! (But that means there are loading screens). - You can throw Blip at the screen borders and he'll bounce off them. LITE does not do this! - If you launch Blip up fast enough, you will send him into the sun, and he'll let out a hilarious scream as he fades into nothing. - If you close the game and reopen it later, Blip will stay in the exact mood you left him in! He has 20 different reactions depending on how you treated him. - There is a custom mouse cursor now! - There is an event tool called Virus. Let's see you guess what character that's from! - Finding the ultimate hidden secret unlocks two free rewards: An achievement and a confetti popper tool. Pop it, and a happy Blip will throw his hands up and shake them like a baby! - The game tracks your lifetime gameplay to determine if you are a friend or a foe. You can check your stats in a new STATISTICS page. - It's a lot more interesting if you're a friend to Blip. However, the temptation to do mean stuff to him makes the game difficult and interesting! - My goal is to focus on your emotions. Because Blip remembers what you do, I'm aiming to make you feel genuinely guilty or happy. - Two of the songs in the OST were originally made months ago for a school project, but I edited them for the game! - In the intro, Blip spawns by popping onto the grass. He'll look around at himself, then smile at you because someone is finally there. - In the intro, if you click my Rocky Wizard Games logo, you'll break it and scare him! - You have read all the fun facts, and you shall never get that time back. :) QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Q: Will the game be free? A: Yes! The game is completely free. Q: What are you using to make it? A: I am using TurboWarp to my advantage. It provides all the tools I need to make a great standalone game. Q: Will there be any in-game purchases? A: No. Everything will be unlocked entirely through progression. Q: What is the progression like? A: You start with a handful of tools and unlock more by finding secrets and earning achievements. You will also have an Experience Level showing your dedication to Blip! Have more questions? I'll start another Q&A project about Friend or Foe later! Blip is definitely excited to meet you... never mind, he's not.
