yeah im a day late but whateverrrrr --- this week's advice is all about how to reference another artwork that doesnt make it "cheating!" -- a lot of people say that referencing off of a thing is cheating. IT IS NOT. please bear with me as i say that referencing is not the same thing as stealing someone else's artwork. ok well if you dont know what referencing is, its when you take an already existing artwork, either yours or someone else's and use part of their style or how they draw it in order to help you out. you may use a reference, i use a reference! an oc ref is one, it literally has the word "ref" (short for reference) in the thing, like come on and you say thats not good :cry: BUT however if you just trace the thing and dont give credit thats like a whole new low, like i dont see much tracing so like why would you do it in the first place so to properly reference, you just take the colors, use their style and you just, well, draw! please for the love of all things grilled cheese & tomato soup dont steal/trace someone else's hard work, it ruins it for you and others D: ok i think thats it for this week, dont forget that referencing is NOT cheatin!!!!!!!!
