Chapter Eight I then sighed "hmm how to explain such a adventurous but unfortunate story?" I thought for a few moments and then finally made up my mind on how to tell it. I spoke, "this all started when I was young, the name of the city ソード・ドラゴン or Sōdo Doragon." I pointed at the city that was behind us, "oh that's the name of city?" She said, "I didn't know that was what the metropolis was called." "Yep", I said before continuing " anyways so I used to live there at ソード・ドラゴン for many years, well until rather recently" I then sighed, "well before I was banished from there". She was surprised, "wait banished!? what for?" I then softly said "well I guess my small crimes of stealing food from the markets kind of stacked up over time against me, but I wasn't even stealing for myself. I was giving the food to people that were unfortunately unable to provide food for themselves and their families. But it apparently appeared that the city didn't like that fact that someone was going around taking food without ever paying and giving it to what the city called, wrecked or wretched souls. So they finally decided to chase me out of the city and that was where I thought their insignificant display of rage would end, I was wrong, they chased me into the thickness of the forest until I was knocked out by a tree branch." I paused for a singular second, I looked over to see her sitting there, listening very carefully to my story. I then continued, "I was then taken to the court hall and put before the judge of the entirety of Sōdo Doragon, he sentenced me to be exiled from the city immediately, and now here we are" I turned towards her but I noticed that she was fixed on something else in the distance. "Something wr-?" I was about to ask, but she interrupted me "oh no", I heard her whisper under her breath. "What is it?" I said, I then looked past her and saw a small squadron of possibly four to five people heading towards where we were sitted, I recognized them, they were the people who had made me fall into the ravine earlier. We both immediately stood up as the squadron slowly began to make it to their destination of being right in front of us. "Just let me do the talking" She whispered to as the group walked in front of us, to which I responded with a small nod, when the group hsd arrived from in front of us, I was able to firmly confirm that this were the people that I had fought with recently and one of them looked at me, seeming to notice me standing there, there was three of them there. The one that was standing past the two and was closer to us spoke, but not to me, but to her standing beside me in a foreign language. "Quomodo audes cum extraneo colloqui me non certiore facto? Scis profecto hoc graves habiturum esse consequentias, quae serio tractabuntur!" She replied to him "Yabancı mı!? Geldiği yerden kovuldu, gidecek başka hiçbir yeri yok!", though I was unable to understand what they were saying. The leader replied angrily "Tehdit oluşturuyor gibi görünmüyor, güvenilir biri izlenimi veriyor; üstelik yapayalnız. they then finally spoke english "not with that katana by his side he doesn't and it has the cities emblem on it too" the leader said. I realized that he was talking about me and I slowly put my hand on my obi slightly as I was beginning to feel a little uncomfortable by his accusations towards me. Im guessing she must've sensed me move towards my katana for my safety because she said "it's for his safety, and so what if he was part of the city? He is no idea what is going on and he is out here all alone, i mean who knows what could be possibly be lurking out here, hiding in the darkest of shadows". The leader got mad and yelled the girl's name and then said in the foreign language "Neyi riske attığının farkında mısın!?", she responded with one word softly "Evet" and the leader then back up in line with the other two people while the girl continued "Eğer bu sonunda itibarımı mahvedecekse, varsın öyle olsun, Ama birini öylece kendi başının çaresine bakmaya terk etmem.". She then passed for a moment "Allah aşkına, o bizim düşmanımız değil; kendimi sana daha kaç kez tekrar etmem gerekecek!? Evet, o bir yabancı ama biz de öyleyiz; neden kendi halkımıza sırt çeviriyoruz?" The leader gave up and ordered the two behind him to follow him "beni takip et" they began to walk away while I was just sitting there visibly in a violent struggle of confusion,"so is everything okay?", I heard hear whisper under her breath in the foreign language "Kendi esenliğimi kendim sağlayabilirim; onun bunu yapmasına ihtiyacım yok." I replied with a very confused expression "what?", she noticed my display of visible confusion, "nothing, it's nothing, " I then thought "wait didn't whoever that was say your name, what was it again" she realized that she had never even told me her name and I hadn't told her mine yet either. She was silent for a few seconds but then she finally opened her mouth to speak.
