U said long so u get long ~CHAPTER 1 SECTION 1 ~ (kyo and his older bro, kuru, (kuruna) remained at the same school from preskool to middle skool, moved skools at highskool and moved again during highskool as juniors, and finally moved skools for college/university) (warning, VERY LONG) so Kuruna was basically the favorite but the parents didnt overlook kyo THAT much. though it still affected kyo cuz he had this lingering question in his mind, why wasnt he good enough? kyo was always negative, the favoritism probably had a role, especially during his childhood. why? idk ask him. when anything good happened he would always remain cynical, which probably caused him to be depressed even though his household was kinda healthy. ig he matured fast. MENTALLY. CALM DOWN. during middle school kyo and kuru always had eachothers backs, kyo never hated kuru because of the favoritism (tho there was always a lingering jelousy) but actually used that to his advantage sometimes. basically kuru and kyo were partners in crime. when kyo became a deliquent however, the teachers started disliking kyo even more, not that kyo cared since all he cared about at the time was remaining physically and mentally ok. kuru had his own friendgroup (kyo wasnt close to em but knew each member) and eventually kurus friendgroup started distancing themselves from kyo (out of fear/distatse) during his deliquent era kyos grades were also down, and kept coming home with scratches/bruises. he thougt he was being intimidating and cool but was scaring everyone off- im talking if you looked at him the wrong way BAM. BLACK EYE AND PUNCH TO THE GUT. his parents were worried about him, so much so they basically brought him down into the easier classes and got him accomidations to get his grades up. originally he wouldve prolly gotten bullied for moving down a class, but at this point no one batted an eye. he was mostly lonely during his middleschool life ~CHAPTER 1 SECTION 2 ~ kyo decided it was time to leave his deliquency behind him, trying to start anew. during kyos most aggressive point, kuruna decided to distance himself a bit cuz even he was a bit on egde- during highskool kyo was still in the lower classes but his grades got better and eventually moved back up. though during this time the parents relationship worsened, kyo and kuru didnt know because they both played a facade, and cuz i wanna truamatize kyo more, kyo eventually found his moms hanging body in the bathroom. yikeeessss!!! kyo hated his dad since then, kuru eventually got over it but til this day kyo is still holding a grudge. after that happened kyos grades got even worse than his deliquent era, to the point where teachers are pulling him aside and asking if everythings ok at home ?? kyo was very close to restarting his deliquency, but refrained. ~CHAPTER 2 SECTION 1 - HE GOT A J*B?!~ ima skip most of his skool life cuz its boring so ill cut to when hes an adult and gets a journalism job. also yes in college he focused on journalism/writing. he started college at 18-19 and graduated at 25-26 (2 yrs + 4 yrs for bachelors) anyway, during this time hes about to finish college (1-2 yrs away from finishing) and got hired at a journalism industry. keep in mind, kyo just wanted to have a job in general, so he got hired at a pretty crappy workplace since this was his very first time documenting stuff. since he was also in college he had a hard time meeting deadlines for work and for skool. on the day he was fired he encountered a strange event, one that pushed him to join SEIA. as he was walking from his work to his car, he often travels thru an alleyway as a shortcut. kyo didnt believe in ghosts but after almost freezing in place involuntarily he quickly changed his mind. OK OK OK SOOOO I GET TO DESCRIBE HOW IT FELT YAYY its very specific hehe :3 kyos feet felt like they were stuck to some kind of glue, and he felt this cold pressure around his body, digging into his skin. notably on the neck and wrists, it felt like a bunch of tiny teeth/blades burrowing into his skin, it was weird he could feel it on the wrists because he wears gloves most of the time. atp he was paralyzed by fear and didnt dare look behind him, he also smelled a weird fleshy smell, even though he couldnt see it he knew something got closer.. and closer, each time it got closer he could feel more weight on his shoulders, a strange bitter taste in his mouth, and eyes watering unwillingly, a giant deformed shadow slowly growing above him until- BOOOOOOOOM!!!! EXPLOSION!!!!! Meet Toishi, a yokai that sucks at transforming. he just saved kyos life by exploding an entity named G.O.M.E (grouping of malevolent emotions) this gome has been stalking kyofu for awhile and has been waiting until its full potential has been reached. when a gome gets powerful enough u can see it, powerful gomes like to hide so ppl dont see em, ill make a character profile for em prolly. btw, gomes r VERY DUMB. +
