ᴠᴇᴄᴛᴏʀ ɢᴀᴍᴇ ᴍᴀᴋᴇʀ ᴀᴡᴀʀᴅꜱ || ʀᴏᴜɴᴅ 2 ⛱ ☀ LITTLE ISLANDS - Place sunshades and protect snakes from sunlight! ❕ better gameplay experience with mouse controls ☀ About —————— It's a warm day in a tiny tropical archipelago. Mild azure waves are shimmering under the hot and ubiquitous sun. Some sunbathing snakes on these little islands have already absorbed enough heat and need your help getting protected from the excessive sunlight. Take your sunshades and visit different locations at the Little Islands in this small and simple puzzle game! Complete the game by making it through 15 unique levels! ☀ Instructions —————— ➢ Drag the buttons in right side to place sunshades. ➢ You can place a sunshade when... — the pole is completely on an island — the pole does not touch snakes — the whole sunshade does not touch other sunshades. ➢ You will complete the level when all the green snakes are under sunshades. ➢ Red snakes do not want to be in shadow! ➢ To remove a sunshade, drag it on the right side until a red cross shows, and then release. ☀ Project info —————— ➢ 1100+ blocks ➢ 7 sprites ➢ 15 levels ☀ Notes & Credits —————— ➢ All art, code and music by me, @Draiveri :) ➢ The music piece was made just for this game so its name could be "Little Islands". ➢ Fonts used: "Norican" and "Bree Serif" from Google Drawings. ➢ The whoosh sound effect is from Pixabay. ➢ The "level completed" sound effect is made by me. ➢ The rest of sound effects are from Scratch sound library (some might have been edited) This game got inspiration from all the one-player logic board games by Smartgames (especially one called Dinosaurs - Mystic Islands). They have been a significant part of my childhood and there are still about 10 different Smartgames puzzles in our home ^^ The concept is not as fun to play as I hoped, but I am quite pleased with the artwork and my attempt to represent tropical vibes in this game :) The starting and ending animations might be a bit bland but my imagination ceased in the end ;-; What do you think of the number of the levels in this game, considering that this game will never have a level selection feature? Does 15 levels feel long enough to play? Let me know if you want!
