The Tystian Conference is a recently held broadcast meant to be the clarity that the galaxies need as to the purpose of the Cobalt Pact. There, the Bastion Federation’s president, Baithan Lothes, made a speech to do just that; “It seems that there has been a great deal of confusion, rumors, and misinformation surrounding our recently founded Cobalt Pact. To clarify; we have no intention of enforcing any rules or regulations on other nations. Although we preferably would like to keep the peace whenever it is possible, we will not interfere with any nation’s autonomy; in fact, we will do the opposite and assist all nations in maintaining their autonomy. We are not warmongering, we are not controlling, and we are not looking to cause any instability anywhere. And especially to the Imperial Kingdom of Noir and Hives of Qu; we respect your individuality and wishes. We respect IKN’s patent on wormhole technology and do not wish to disrupt it. We respect HoQ’s wish to keep their borders stable. I apologize if either of these nations felt pressured or uncomfortable by the Cobalt Pact’s diplomacy with them; we simply seek trade and prosperity. Thank you for your time.”
