Our chicken (rooster) escaped and ran into his yard. He helped me and my brother catch him. My brother grabs the chicken from me, and we stand around for a few seconds to talk to the neighbor. My brother leaves me. Alone. So I'm kind of stuck there, talking to the neighbor who I didn't really know well. When I get home, I get yelled at for talking to a "stranger." BRO HE'S MY FRIENDS' DAD, and it's not like I can just walk away, that'd be really, really, rude. Aaaand I hear nothing about my brother leaving me. I've been sick the pat few days, and whenever I'm sick, my brother is JUST SO MEAN. He calls me names, screams at me whenever I look at him, and treats me like I have the Black D34th. And at camp a few weeks ago, he was just so attitudy. Pointing at other kids, slapping one of our church kids bc he was holding his Bible, not listening when my mom tells him to stop complaining. The one upside about this past month is my grandma. She's not a native English speaker, she first spoke Russian. I drew Pixel leaning on a tree, and you can only see her backside. It was uncolored lineart, and I showed my mom first. She said it looked like a cucumber. anyway, I showed my grandma, AND OH MY STAS SHE WAS AMAZING. All I told her was, "It's Pixel, wearing her hood, leaning on a tree." And guess what? She said she looked like she was thinking, and kind of sad. OH MY STARS IT WAS THE EXACT MOOD I WAS GOING FOR- Yeah, she annoys me sometimes with her grammar and hugs and asking if I'm hungry and stuff, but at that moment, AAAHHHHHHH- (my grandma and deda (grandpa) live with me, my brother, and parents. We don't live with them lol.) At junior camp, I was a junior counselor heheheh (counselor that's under 18, above 12.) OH MY STARS THOSE BOYS ARE GOING TO BE THE END OF ME- There's a game called 9-squares, and the boys wouldn't leave it for the church-prayer meeting. I need Caine's all seeing eyes or something because as soon as I got 1 boy towards me, the other would wander off. We had 2 girl campers from our church, B and S (one of my bffs.) B is 8, but she's VERY TINY, but very uuuhhh.... she wouldn't listen to me. When I'd be gathering the kids for our prayer meeting, she'd listen and come to me, then run off to the auditorium. CAMPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RUN OFF WITHOUT A COUNSELOR- I kept telling her that, but she kept doing it all week. W had 4 boys, my brother, my cousin, J (S and B's brother,) and M. M is a few months younger than me, but he was still a camper. He was yelling at B because she was holding her team's flag. SHE WAS ALLOWED TO- So at the prayer meeting, I tried to ask him what was wrong. He started shaking his head and chanting his team's name to block me out. I didn't know what to do, so I just walked away and did my devotion. Pool time.... was chaos. I walked out girls to the pool (they can't go without a counselor,) and B was going very, very, VERY slow. I told her to keep up, and she said if I said it one more time, she was going to go back to the cabin. After the pool was done, it turned out B forgot her towel. I told S to share with her sister. There was a little arguing lol. One of the rules for the camp is that you can't walk outside unless you're fully dressed. For girls, shoulders to knee covered, and you have to have a skirt below the knee. B didn't want to put her cloths on because she was still wet. Then when I was trying to get the towel, she ran off. I had to run to her, leave S, and get her back to the pool. I kept her there until S was ready to go. I mean, seriously, the juniors are supposed to listen to their counselors. Next year, I'm def going to be more assertive.
