The Thawrists/Sogranists as they were called, actually did have about the same amount of troops as Skoth did, because of the fact that Sogran had drafted triple times the legal limit. "My Lord." "Yet there are plenty of people to spare." Sogran replied. "But my Lord." Dahia continued. "If we do not win early on in the war, then the troops will lose what morale they have left. After all, you forced them out of their homes, away from their fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters to fight." "It is a risk we have to take." Sogran replied. "My Lord." Dahia replied. "Let Vog attack first. After all, they know the land much less than we do, meaning we can use our strategies with success and demoralize them quickly. But my Lord, there is less chance for success if we attack first into an area our soldiers do not know as well." "Yet this I shall do." Sogran replied. "Long live Thawr!" So thus, at the Southwestern border of Sogran's territory, a force of 100,000 men, (that is, 20 Brigades), went forth into Vog. But the men of Vog were cunning, and they were prepared for this invasion. The men of Vog ambushed the Sogranists in the Hudud Valley, forcing them to flee back to the border city from which they came. Not only this, but Vog managed to conquer a small portion of Sogranist land. If the Sogranists continue to lose battles, than things may not go well. Casualties: Vog: 50,000 Sogranists: 75,000
