✦ Snape's Dungeon - a Potion-Making Game! ✦ ════════════════════════════════ ↳ by @unicornehana + @aSmileyFaceSticker Sugar's Version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1363637978/ In this game, you're a student in a potion-making class. You'll be able to make five potions from the HP series, and at the end, you'll take a quiz to test your knowledge. The goal is to get the highest grades possible. You'll be marked on how your potions are accurate to the recipe—if the ingredients are correct and added in the correct order, if you stirred the right amount of times, if you chopped when needed...all you need will be written in your Advanced Potion Making book, including notes from the Half-Blood Prince. ✦ Instructions ↳ If this is your first time playing, go through Snape's tutorial at the start. Otherwise, skip it and go straight to the game! ↳ You have 3 supplies: a water jug, a spoon, and a knife. When they are greyed out and dotted, it means you don't need them, however, if they're lit up, you can click them. ↳ Snape will give you short instructions and lessons in the text box at the top of your screen. Tap to advance. ↳ Every potion needs water, so pour some before adding ingredients. ↳ To add ingredients, tap the door icon on the bottom right of your screen to open the cupboard, then select the ingredient you need. Remember to keep checking the recipe book to make sure you're doing it in the right order. ↳ Tap the ingredient jar and it will come out onto your mat. From there, tap it to add it to the cauldron OR tap the knife to chop it if you need to. Some ingredients can't be chopped, and the knife will appear greyed out if so. ↳ When you're done adding ALL ingredients to the cauldron, tap your spoon. Then, tap the spoon as many times as you need to stir(check the book)! Press the 'done' button in the dialogue box to finish the potion—you can't undo this! ↳ After you get your grade, you’ll go back to the door for the next day. ↳ In the exam, check the box which you think is right, then press next or right arrow to go to the next question. Once you are done you will get your final score and end the game. You do NOT need to know Harry Potter to play the game! All the recipes are in your book. Some questions in the quiz might be easier if you’ve read the books, but anyone can play. ✦ Keys ⇾ the game is entirely mobile friendly, however you can use certain keys.
