Prolouge: 9:52 closing time --------------------------------------------------------------------- Jay (or...now head nurse) let out a loud sigh then chugged her coffee. Today was her turn for closing time. She glared at the tv above. 'ONE PATIENT REMAINING'. "DING!" The entrance bell rang and out came a panting animal. "HEY-can I check in as a visitor PLEASE PLEASE I NEED TOsee them ARE THEY OK!??!?" the head nurse jump back being startled by the new and loud appearance. "Ok completely understandable! I just need a photo." "THERES NO TIME FOR A PHOTO I NEED TO SEE THEM-" "Sorry err-miss this is standard procedure-" "PLEASE!!" The head nurse's hands were now shaky. "F-fine!! Im sorry!" "OH thank you miss!!" The visitor dashed toward the room with the remaining patient. The head nurse sighed then followed them to the room. ... "Ah! Canadian! And dry eyes!..Mister...Ginger Sprouts! I can go get some supplies and you'll be out in a jiffy!!" The head nurse paused for a second then walked out of the room. "Gosh finally!" The visitor scoffed and rolled her eyes, then she began to chuckle. "Ginger Sprouts? That's your cover-up name??" She began to laugh "Its hard making up names on the spot!!" The green patient grumbled. "And anyways, why are YOU here!?! Im pretty sure they did not assign you a visitor role." "Yeah but I needed to pitch...an idea to you." The red visitor sat down on the bed next to the patient. "..go on, what's this 'Magical idea' that was SO important that you had to interrupt MY potential lunch?!" The patient shifted then sat up. "Remember when Cassidy got caught as an anomaly?" "Eh, not really but continue anyways." "Well when they disposed of her body..." The visitor pulled out a filled syringe with a maroon substance inside. "...I took a blood sample." "And since harlow intended for our bites to be infectious, im wondered if this sample would work. Y'know since the biting method isn't fast enough." The patient looked annoyed now. "And why do you need ME for this?" "Because they're not gonna approach a visitor with anything, though I expected there to be more people but just one animal is perfect!" "So when she comes back let her feed you the maple syrup and get her around the ribs. Simple enough for your tiny brain?" "WHAT?!?! I dont have a tiny brain! And fine! I'll show you...Just gimme!!" "You sound like a deluded infant, but fine." The visitor handed the syringe to the patient. "Now im going back where I was and pretend to cry for your helpless Canadian gut." "Alrighty mister Sprouts! I apologize for the wait, I had to adjust a few things!" The head nurse laughed nervously. She approached the bed starting to lift her hand with the eye drops. "Ok can you open your eyes wide for me?" The patient nodded and widened his eyes. The head nurse stepped back "Y-your eyelids aren't the usual pale pink they s-should be..." "If you dont mind me asking who checked you in? "I'm not sure..he had big ears," the patient had sweat dripping down him chin and the visitor looked like she was trying to hide panic. "OH the intern...im going to have to ask you to leave mister.." Silence. "OH FOR GOODNESS SAKES JUST GIVE ME!" the patient tossed something the head nurse couldn't make out to the visitor and she quickly ran up to the head nurse "W-wait wha-" SLITCH. the syringes substance was injected into the head nurse. Her body stiffened, then she fell to the floor. "My GOD you couldnt have done it while she was checking her eyes?!? Your useless!" The visitor stepped towards the bed. "Is..that meant to happen?" "Oh HAHA you /WOULD/ change the subject!" "Well, to be fair you said do it during the maple syrup--but seriously why did she pass out." "Ugh I don't know!! Uhm-just help me get her in a storage closet or something!" The patient grabbed the head nurse's legs and the visitor grabbed the arms. They walked to a place with a closed shop. "Why is there a shop in a hospital? Im not buying stethoscope plushies!" The visitor scoffed. To the right of the shop there was a closed door that said 'DOCTORS OFFICE'. When they opened the door the lights were off and they tossed the limp body in and shut the door. The head nurse used her remaining power to turn her head towards the noise. Two voices. They were mostly just mumbles from what she could hear but the last sentence was eerily clear. "Either she rots and dies or we have a much stronger ali." She breathed much faster. She was having a panic attack. It felt as if there was something alive in her right now. Though..she knew why she took so long to grab two objects literally out the hall. She turned the cameras to see in the room. She just hoped that someone would check and see and help her. ... But she turned them away from where she lies. She just needed to...
