(Note to NXG mods; i used my signature as a thumbnail to hide the morally grey project. I remember tonki saying not to do that but I thought I would need to to avoid getting this taken down by St.) There is a 5.56 carbine variant but I only made the battle rifle version because I'm not doing allat. this is the Mako industries Arg m23. also known as the Nordan main service rifle. the Arg m23 is chambered in 7.62x51 and is the standard issue rifle given to riflemen in the armed services. it also serves alongside the m24 which is a carbine chambered in 5.56 issued to vehicle crews and anti tank gunners. The Mako industries ARG series of rifle's exterior is similar to that of an ar 15 platform, but is distinct internally. it uses a proprietary short stroke gas piston system and distinct recoil shock control mechanization to reduce recoil. These weapons are built specifically to remain reliable in cold weather. the rugged design and sturdy materials naturally owe to this feature. and it's ergonomics and high stopping power allow it to outperform many other contemporary weapons at extreme temperatures. The Mako Arg m23 is a well balanced battle rifle with excellent stopping power and great handling combined with amazing accuracy and range ( all thanks to it's high quality materials and the 7.62x51 cartridge) many soldiers report hitting center of mass on cat-sized targets up to 850 meters away under optimal circumstances. but the maximum distance is generally accepted to be 800 with average distance of accurate fire being around 725. the M23 costs around 3,000 per unit. The Mako Arg m24 is a carbine chambered in 5.56 and emphasizes more on recoil control and firerate rather than stopping power and range. the M24 is lethal in close range combat with a high firerate and great control. even with this good close range performance, it does not compromise rang and can reach up to 550 meters maximum on point targets. the m24 costs around 1,800 per unit. specs for the M23: Mass 3.9 kg (9 lb)[1] Length 880 to 965 mm (35 to 38 in)[1] Barrel length 406.2 mm (16 in) Cartridge 7.62×51mm NATO Action Gas-operated, rotating bolt Effective firing range 600 m (656 yd) (KIV 23) 800 m (875 yd) (TKIV 23) Feed system 10 or 20-round detachable polymer box magazine I got this stat card from wikipedia. I think its correct for this model right here.
just a legally distinct Sako Arg. no music today sorry :( Uh, I guess I owe it to @Tac_Jaeger_77 for that tutorial on how to make these.
